Norway are our friends why should they attempt to block us over any limited issue they may have a say so on.

As for the other 27 nations currently still within the EU? They will do what Germany tells them to do. And since the UK is Germany's third largest export market, making up ~20% of their World wide exports they want us BIG time or their Government will have to explain why they have to sack 100s of motor industry emplyees because the EU commission hates the UK for leaving the EU.

Lets face the EU commision are just puppies & the German Government is dominant... Which is exactly what Martin Boreman planned for Europe.

Maybe Norwegians are, but the elitist and political classes might have their own agenda, not the least of them climbing aboard the EU bandwagon, and might not be friendly to us whilst they fulfil it? But I read this morning that our new PM has told the England out of the EU department to get their fingers out and get on with it, before it all becomes bogged down in the dreaded 'bureaucracy' quagmire?

Norway are not only our friends but they are our business rivals in the energy market. So they have their own boat to row and not ours.

Norway also has the same political divide over EU membership.
The politico's want it and continue to scheme to get it... and the people do not.

So you will get divided responses as to what Norway intends or wishes to do depending on which Norwegian you speak to.

Yugoslavia was never a member of the EU ie there is no precedence where an existing EU member splits up and one of the split countries wishes to join .. furthermore the countries that joined the EU after Yugoslavia split ALL had to meet the requirements to join. ... just as Scotland will have to do ie Euro as currency etc. .. there is a precedence where a country has split and one part has decided to leave the EU - Greenland in 1985 and Algeria in 1962.

I get a kick out of the alarmists that wet thier pants because the UK wants out of the unelected global governance model of central control.
