That is such a generic photo that it not much of an indication of anything except they were in the same general area at the same time. Actually rape it more about having power over someone than being attracted to them. There thousands upon thousands of cases where the victim would not be considered attractive.
My claim was not that people only rape hot people, but that people are more likely to rape people they find attractive than those they do not.

And again, studies show that attraction has nothing to do with it, Rapists get off more on having power over their victim then actual attraction to them. They typically choose victims who are weak and vulnerable, who are less likely to fight back. Attraction to the victim rarely is even that much of an issue.
Okay, so nobody or practically nobody rapes for sexual gratification, it is in all or most all cases about power.
I would question the legitimacy of any study that said "attraction has nothing to do with it". That would be saying that in all the rapes that ever occurred, attraction had nothing to do with a single one. .
