Well, I was wondering the other day whether Obama would be able to read my posts in this forum and now I know the answer.

Yes, Obama is reading this forum. And all other forums. He knows exactly what I think about him and so does the IRS.

Also he watches our emails, and our facebook pages. So really, nothing we do is private anymore except maybe they're not watching me pee if I close the door to the bathroom.

Yeah.... only it could be that your government is actually trying to prevent another 9/11. But lets focus on the more likely scenario of Obama wanting to implement a totalitarianist regime. Yeah, lets do that.

Ah, idealism. A sensation that is crushed lifeless by realism.

I think we have found a true bipartisan issue a lot of us can rally behind

And just how, in your paranoid fantasy, do you think they'll be able to actively monitor all that data? Collecting it is easy. Reading it is another thing entirely.

    I don't suppose they can.

After all the Boston bombers slipped through and killed 3 people without the incompetents in Obama's government being able to stop them.

Could it be that your security services are so vast, that many of them are not understood by or perhaps known by which ever government is in power?

Could they now so bureaucratic, that they are not controllable?

It wasn't that long ago with the Iran Contra scandel, do you think it's got much better? Look at the budget increases since then and you'll more than likely see far more money going it. Has oversight increased proportionally?

They've been playing you like kippers since the Cold War... fear fear fear and you fell for it.

So, you agree with this? Do you want Government to have no checks or balance? No Constitution?
And as each new President is elected?

Leffe, got hand it to you...you are a progressives wet dream.

That sounds like something all of us should do, unfortunately the most of the partisan liberals on this forum would give Obama a pass if he was ripping the heads off babies and serving them for dinner to his family.

This should upset all Americans, but watch the spin, the liberals will fall down from being so dizzy and go crawling back to their master Obama. A shining example was when the IRS scandal broke, most liberals were upset, then the Obama spin began, now they are defending the IRS and their tyranny and intimidation. Amazing how gullible and ignorant some people are

The same way you Google anything, and you could imagine the massive powerful search engine the government has to do it. We were warned this day would come.

That's one way to look at it ... another way to look at it as that Libs in high-office can never be confused with RINO's/neocon's/tea partiers or whatever conservatism calls itself ... in high-office ... which will never happen again since Bush.

Agreeing or disagreeing would be a risk based question, the risks to weigh would be terrorrist threat level vs loss of privacy. I do not know the terrorist threat level and neither does anyone on this board. So I cannot say if I do or do not and neither can anyone else really.

I do not agree with government survelence of the population (who does), I'm just not going to jump on this bandwagon.

What if this prevented a nulear detonation on US soil? It could be seen that the pro's outweigh the cons.

What is clear however, is that the group of people who supported this sort of thing in the post 9/11 years, now, suspiciously under a new Dem POTUS, have changed their stance entirely. This issue is clouded on this board, due to the partisan nature of people here (both sides).

Are "thinking" and "considering" the actions of a "progressives wet dream"? If they are, well I'm happy to be in their thoughts as they peal one off.

Anyone with views against the President will be targeted, by the IRS, by other goverment agencies such as OSHA if you have a business etc.

The nation we once knew now totally ceases to exist. It is time to either vote them out otherwise there will be not chance in saving it.

I guess the "we are not crooks,we are just incompetent" defense is valid for the NSA as well as the IRS

So are all the Liberals here going to continue to claim all these scandals are just Republicans having a hissy fit over the election, or its all made up lies or will they claim Obama has had NO KNOWLEDGE?, or will they say, "Bush did it, so its OK". OR, will they be honest and say WTF? I'm betting, not the last option:) Some will still want to protect Obama no matter what for whatever weird reason. Its either trolling or insanity.

You know the story of the boy who cried wolf? I'm reminded of it now. You've spent years hypocritically attacking Obama and expect Dems to get on board now... Good luck.

You were warned by the liberals during GWB's "Patriot act" days. Complaining now is silly, just silly.

    Exactly.

Maybe the FBI was otherwise engaged spending $50 million on conferences and Star Trek spoofs and just overlooked the two Muslim immigrants with murder in their heart.

As it is appearing now, we had good reason to harshly criticize this tyrannical thug. The first indicator that he was a lying piece of (*)(*)(*)(*) when he told America he sat in the pews of the racist preacher Wright for 20 years and never heard him spout his hatred for white people. And sadly, millions fell for that bull(*)(*)(*)(*)

I knew the excuses would start, thanks for playing
