    Can't say I've read anything about this new pope, but if he is sympathetic towards women's rights and homosexuality, than it seems the Catholic church has finally decided to live in the 21st century. If that's true, good on them.

    I hope that he pushes for 'contraception,' as I can see the point of 'playing God' with reproduction, but a sperm is a sperm, and an egg which if isnt fertilized still dies; also, Catholics are allowed to practice the 'rhythm method,' which is till an attempt at playing God with reproduction.

    I would also like to see nuns 'elevated,' sort of like the Generals/Admirals are at the top of the military, but there are also top NCO's,such as the Sergeant Major of the Army..I always thought that Mother Theresa was somewhat disrespected by the male hierarchy who 'reluctantly' acknowledged her global recognition.
