The Oathkeepers are not a militia and have done noting but promise not to obey unlawful orders.

Militias are PERFECTLY LEGAL, but that is a red herring as the Oathkeepers are not a militia.

 

They are putting a cadre in place to take charge once it hits the fan. That pretty well firs the definition of "ASSOCIATING INTO A MILITARY COMPANY" and meeting one of the criteria of an unlawful militia.

The Organization needs such cadre in place to collect useful idiots.

 

In America, we the people are supposed to be the authorities.

I know more then a couple handfuls of Oath keepers, I myself am not one, but I have donated about 300 hours of my time to them over the past two years.

You ought to move to Red China....Arresting or shooting a group consisting of ex Military men who support the US Constitution is something that would go over big over there.

In Washington State, this is illegal under RCW 38.40.120.

Congress is charged with prescribing the training and equipment of the militia and the states are charged with the work of leading them.

A bunch of drooling reactionaries have no authority to usurp that authority.

What exactly causes you to make this insult towards the group? What in their beliefs.

The Oathkeepers are about Constitutionality. Are you for or against the U.S. Constitution. Wait don't answer that, you are a lefty.

Tell us which orders you want them to obey from their charter?

1. We will NOT obey orders to disarm the American people.

2. We will NOT obey orders to conduct warrantless searches of the American people

3. We will NOT obey orders to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to military tribunal.

4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state.

5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty.

6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.

7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.

8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to “keep the peace” or to “maintain control.”

9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies.

10.We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

 

If the white nationalists or their meat puppets rise, these measures may be necessary to put them down. Anybody refusing to fight the Organization is committing treason.

9. Seems controversial, but one simply cannot allow a rebel camp to keep its logistically crucial supplies. If there is an uprising, and a prepper camp falls to government forces, there are a lot of people who will need that food until order is restored, and it is not in the public interest that it be available to the insurrectionists.

 

The Oath Keepers should be commended for their assertions. Our government is fast becoming an occupying force with no respect for the highest law in the land. Both parties have staffed all three branches of the government with whores who do not represent us in any way. Cheers

 

The Oath Keepers do not represent any considerable portion of the population, either, and would be in the way of any attempt to put down an insurrection by domestic enemies.

It's nice knowing that there are citizen watch groups keeping an eye on over reaching Federal and State agencies. I welcome their input and their noble efforts.

 

This is why warfare is set to survive indefinitely among our kind. Different people think in fundamentally different ways, and when times get tough different groups band together and fight for their version of what's right. You're prepared to kill or let be killed people who would organise themselves for their own purposes contrary to the authority you believe to be the only legitimate one. Yet these people aren't about to go attack you or anyone. Most if not all of the right wingers you fear simply want to live free of the authority you think must dominate them, and will only fight in self-defense.

All authority is arbitrary. No matter what authoritative structure we're talking about, it exists by the wills of certain people. It is not an absolute, and there is no universal law demanding that anyone obey any particular authoritative structure.

I for one will not bow to an authority that tries to claim dominion over me without my consent. I recognise a necessity for certain rules in society and I'm happy to follow them, e.g. traffic regulations and basic laws protecting the rights of others. Beyond that, however... Things become more questionable. The more controlling our government becomes, the more resistance it will find. That is always the way it works.

I don't see any government as having any authority to murder people who will not submit to it, and I don't care if it was arguably put in place by majority opinion. We can't cast a vote to murder people or otherwise violate their rights.

 

You can't take the weapons away from insurgents, or go looking for arms and ammo in their homes while you are trying to secure a town. Then, if you find that you have captured a terror cell leader, you have to put him into the civilian court system, maybe to be let out on bail for a year or so awaiting trial.

Brilliant bloody tactics for suppressing the RaHoWa.

 

Then convince your neighbors to elect the wimps you want. In the mean time, as long as we still have elections, the militia whack jobs can sit down and shut up.

Those who rise up in an insurrection are murdering their fellow citizens. You have no point.
