Evelyn Farkas, an Obama administration insider, has become the latest Democrat to roll over and squeal on her former comrades, telling MSNBC that she helped spy on Trump for Obama before he left office, and that Trump, not Russians, was the target of illegal surveillance.
Democrats ran an arrogant, sloppy spying campaign against Trump because they assumed that a Clinton victory was certain. They didn’t think Trump would ever be in a position to expose their crimes.

They couldn’t have been more wrong. Now shell shocked Obama administration members are starting to rat on each other, trying to gain favor with the current administration and save themselves from being the ones to serve jail time.

Evelyn Farkas, advisor to the Clinton campaign and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense under Obama, has become the latest rat to depart the sinking ship. Speaking to MSNBC, she explicitly confessed that:

1. She helped spy on Trump for Obama before he left the White House
2. Trump, not Russians, were the targets of surveillance
3. She was concerned about hiding their methods from Trump
4. She encouraged leaks because she was “worried” about Russians
5. “People on the Hill” (Congress) knew about Obama’s spy plot

It’s hard to believe anybody really believes Russia was the intended target of the Trump Tower surveillance.

Trump was Obama’s political rival, after all.

Even the most brainwashed liberals know, deep down in their heart of hearts, that Tricky Barry organized the surveillance in order to monitor the Trump campaign. Gaining the FISA warrant and claiming to be targeting imaginary Russians was simply Obama’s way of getting around the law.

Every time Trump classically exposes something else ..whatever it may be.. and there have been more than a few now.. the MSM poo poos him and tries to further denigrate his character.. alas once again he is proved right...they just don't get it.
There seems to be a steady drip of leaks implicating the Obama cabal in the surveillance of Trump and his campaign team. I think many more are on the verge of confessing to get lower sentences etc. Get the popcorn, a great freaking bowl full, I think we are in for a treat.

Well the gloves are off for Trump's reelection strategy in 4 years. Should the Obama administration be punished like Watergate? Hard to say if it's worth the time and resources. I wouldn't put it past Trump though to smear Hillary and Obama. They deserve it.

 

How much did Trump pay Evelyn Farkas to say this? Anybody took a look at her bank account recently?

 

Is it safe to say that whatever information that comes out that may be negative to Obama or Hillary, that you are going to fabricate a scenario where it is REALLY Trump's fault ?

I'm tempted to say that both sides are equal in spying and dirty tricks. My problem is why do Republicans have to resign in disgrace and Democrats get to keep their jobs? How long did Donna Brazile remain DNC Chairperson after the Clinton-Sanders debate questions scandal?

 

I listened to the whole interview and my impression was that she was talking about information coming from the Russian surveillance / about Russian Surveillance; information that should be sent to "the hill" and was concerned that that information might be lost or sources might be compromised by neglect when the Trump administration took over. Is that possible? No where does she say that Trump or his campaign was being watched or the target of any information gathered from other sources.

 

All of this "russia" is going to explode in the dems faces..

This is their last hail mary, and will fail becoming completely untrustworthy and irrelevant by next election season..

I find it astounding that you can even think there is an equivalency between democrats getting a debate question and republicans potentially colluding with a Russian clandestine effort to influence the american election process thru the creation and distribution of fake news, deploying hundreds of trolls posing as either side (depending on "manipulated" content), hacking political campaigns, amongst other things.

The week before the election Obama himself comes on TV and tells Trump to stop whining about Russians, and that it was impossible for the Russians to tamper with the electoral system in the US.

Then on Nov 9th the theory of "collusion" was born based purely on Clinton's loss.
