Why won't Obama meet with his jobs council? With millions of Americans out of work and income tax receipts to funds Obama's favirite programs way down, you would think an emphasis on creating new jobs and new employment opportunities for all Americans would be Barack Obama's number one priority! Everything on any importance Obama should be doing these days appears to be next in line to his record number of campaign fundraisers. Obama is just out there campaigning every day and looking for somebody else to blame for his failures to move the economy forward, Mr. Boehner said. Analysis and discussion by the MSM follows. Mitt Romney and Republicans are trumpeting the White Houses inactive Jobs Council as evidence the president is sidestepping work on the economy in favor of campaigning. The panel of CEOs and some union officials has not met with the president for six months, after it issued a divided set of policy recommendations (labor participants thought it skewed too much toward corporate tax breaks and deregulation) in January. Theres no specific reason, except the president has obviously got a lot on his plate, but he continues to solicit and receive advice from numerous folks outside the administration about the economy about ideas that he can act on with Congress or administratively to help the economy grow and help create jobs, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Wednesday. He noted that most of the councils recommendations for tax breaks and infrastructure investments that could boost the economy have either been implemented by the administration or, in most cases, blocked by Republicans and Democrats in Congress. Romney and other GOP leaders have pounced on the a lot on his plate line, using it to draw a beeline to an attack theyve been using for months: Obamas record number of campaign fundraisers. The White House was asked why that was, and they said, well, the president has a lot on his plate, Romney said in a speech in Roxbury, Mass., on Thursday. So we take a look at his schedule and over the last six months, he has done 106 fundraisers. And so I think you learn something about the presidents priorities: The job hes interested in protecting is his own. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) told reporters Thursday that Obama doesnt even have time to meet with his own jobs council. Hes just out there campaigning every day and looking for somebody else to blame. http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/07/romney-obama-jobs-council-meetings.php

These observations and comments by Lowden Clear are very good. Obama has been drumming up the drama for his Jobs Bill. Even without a written bill he pranced before the joint session of congress trying to shove his ideology down our throats. He took his message on the road and his song and dance was all about the Republican obstructionists who were denying America jobs. All this drama even before his plan hit paper. And when it did reach paper it had a binder clip on it. On his White House stage, he acted like there was such a hurry to get it going that no other copy existed other than what just came hot off his office laser printer. People aren't buying it. His drama isn't effective. It isn't worth the hype who it was written for, namely, the organized unions who are huge Obama supporters. His own party is beginning to apply some common sense to the theatrical display Obama has shown for his bill. Obama can beat the drum all he wants. He can scream to the top of his lungs to increase the entertainment, "Pass it now!" He can even say, "If you love me, you've got to help me pass this bill!" We still aren't buying it. And then, Solyndra breaks the news with how past stimulus bills have thrown tax payer money into a pit. And still Obama cheers, "Pass it now!" Enough of the drama Obama. ... It has become very apparent you have no game.
He's always been just an ideological campaigner. Not a leader. America fell for it last election. Sure hope we've gotten smarter since then.
