Well you could recommend the book but it is up to you to acquire the knowledge so you can present your own argument so it can be discussed and arguments can be made for and against.

 

Read more. Try to do so objectively. What he said was that music reflects culture and culture reflects music. I absolutely believe that's true. Look at the hippie culture and their music. Grunge, 80's rock, Norteño, etc. If you want to get a quick inside into a culture, look at the music. That's not to say that music causes the culture, but it certainly reflects it as does clothing, car choices, and other popular trends.

Do you want your daughters to grow up thinking that W.A.P. is what they strive to be like? For me, it was Alex Van Halen. For my daughter, it was Britney Spears, for my son it was Rob Dyrdek. Act, talk, dress.

Like cops shooting people for just walking down the street? The problem with claiming racism is the core of one’s inadequacies is actually proving that racism is the cause of all your problems. If you get fired because you’re late often or disagreeable or have an attitude, it’s NOT racism. Or you did terrible in school and don’t have skills worthy of 6 digit salary? But it’s an easy excuse.
