yet shockingly it was not in session form the 30th until the 3rd, which has been stated by myself numerous times here.

    If you say so.

It isn't there that I can see.

"President Obama, in an unprecedented move, has arrogantly circumvented the American people by 'recess' appointing Richard Cordray as director of the new CFPB," said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in a statement.

"Gimmicks do not override the President's constitutional authority to make appointments to keep the government running," Pfeiffer said.

One or two republicans showing up in congress for 5 minutes does not constitute "in session". It constitutes yet another gimmick.

Too bad. It's done and you lose. Get over it.

Now we are clear that you are just another extremist with an unAmerican agenda and should not be listened to.

Hey.....Whatever reason you need to give for running from the arena of political thinking w/tail between legs....so be it.

It is amazing though......Liberals take great offense to "Kenyan"....but rarely if ever "Tyrant".

    Not at all.

I have supported every statement I made with a citation. If you opt to not accept them and the harsh reality of it, then that is not my concern.

I sleep well at night knowing that I use facts to support my assertions and my own acumen to develop my own positions.

What's more funny is that Republicans are so incensed because they lost at their own tricks!

Bush backed up because Republicans made an agreement back in 2005, when the Dems were doing this pro-forma, that they themselves would not use this parliamentary tool against nominees but only under extraordinary circumstances. Seems like they didn't keep up their end of the bargain, but they want the Dems and the Pres to do so? Funny.
