Obama Cyber Chief Confirms 'Stand Down' Order Against Russian Cyberattacks In Summer 2016

Obama cyber chief confirms 'stand down' order in summer 2016​

WASHINGTON — The Obama White House’s chief cyber official testified Wednesday that proposals he was developing to counter Russia’s attack on the U.S. presidential election were put on a “back burner” after he was ordered to “stand down” his efforts in the summer of 2016.
The comments by Michael Daniel, who served as White House “cyber security coordinator” between 2012 and January of last year, provided his first public confirmation of a much-discussed passage in the book, “Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin’s War on America and the Election of Donald Trump,” co-written by this reporter and David Corn, that detailed his thwarted efforts to respond to the Russian attack.

Nuland also noted that other nation-state actors have learned from the Russian playbook, singling out the Chinese who, she said, are now conducting influence operations and disinformation campaigns in Australia, Taiwan and other countries in the region. All this, she said, calls for new U.S. government measures, including the creation of a multiagency “fusion center” — modeled after the National Counterterrorism Center created after the Sept. 11 terror attacks — to collect intelligence and expose “state-sponsored efforts to undermine our democracy” and the appointment of an “international coordinator” to develop coordinated responses with U.S. allies.

Susan Rice, President Obama’s national security adviser and sock puppet, stopped Michael Daniel's efforts and ordered the “stand down.” This order was in part because Obama and Rice feared the options would leak and “ Box the President in.”
The inside Story of "Putin's War on America and Donald Trump’s Election" written by Michael Isikoff and David Corn, reports that that relationship between Democrats and Fusion GPS goes back a lot further, to at least 2012.
“In 2012, Fusion GPS was hired to do opposition research on Mitt Romney for Barack Obama’s re-election campaign,” the book claims.
Isikoff was also behind an article in 2016 that reported on intelligence officials probing contacts between Page and the Kremlin. The House Intelligence Committee memo said that article was cited extensively in the initial FISA application.
Perkins Coie represented Obama in the BC issue, the 2012 presidential campaign, the Clinton campaign and DNC, who retained Fusion GPS. It appears that Perkins, Coie LLC has been intimately involved with the Obama administration, DNC and the Hillary campaign.
Is this that flexibility Obama was talking about when he sent the message to his buddy Vladimir that he'd have more flexibility after the election? Was Obama running the screen for the Russian to cyber attack America? Is the Russia, Russia conspiracy all an Obama plot and trying to frame it around Trump?
Makes you wonder if this was left open, to use later, if they lose the election.. All you need is foot print here and there....People believe whatever there told by MSM. Yet we have yet to hear from the 5th Column propagandist Media. They're trying to bury this information to the public deep.
