General Motors wants a bankruptcy court to protect it from the growing number of lawsuits stemming from the company's botched ignition switch recall. http://money.cnn.com/2014/04/15/news/companies/gm-recall-liability/index.html The new Gm says the old Gm was responsible for the faulty ignition switches but there's no reason the new GM should be at fault for that. The Obama bankruptcy deal did relieve the old GM of prior responsibilities or is that the new GM? I'm sure the families of the dead and injured won't be shopping for an Obama car anytime soon. Once again Obama meddles in things he has no business in and people suffer.
the defense from this spokes lady we at gm messed up /missed it by that much
Here's an article from 2008. I know you won't read it but take a peek anyway. Bush announces $17.4 billion auto bailout http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1208/16740.html He broke he, he bought it.
So what are we going to do, bail out GM again? Restructure it again? That's going to be popular. This is terrible news for Obama. "General Motors is alive."
Bush did made the payoff to GM, obama handled the restructuring. The restructuring is what is saving the new GM from meeting its obligations to those poor children who are suffering from bad GM cars. Why do you support GM? Why do you hate children?
Yes. You defended obama by saying Bush made the GM bailout. Bush did the bailout, but obama was personally involved in the restructuring (bankruptcy) of GM which is shielding the new GM from liability for the injuries due to the bad cars made by the old GM. Then I was just taking a page from the prog playbook - always make it about "the children". Children were hurt by the GM cars, children are being made to suffer because they cannot get compensated by GM because of the restructuring, you support the new GM, ergo - why are you making children suffer? Do you hate children? Seems to work in a prog sort of way.
