    The only thing objective is that, faced with a pathogen in China knowledge of which was non-existent in the free world, Trump did everything right. On January 24, he offered Xi help ,,, mainly so our doctors could find out what we would be dealing with before it got to our shores. Up against Chinese hubris, he banned travel from China to the US on January 31. Haters accused him of xenophobia. When Trudeau continued to allow flights from China to Vancouver and sick people started driving south to Washington State, Trump hammered Trudeau to end the influx of disease.

    If anyone is to blame, its the Representatives and Senators who were in DC while we brought China to the point of Xi asserting that China is the only sovereign country in the world. Trump didn't bring us to that point where we outsourced our jobs to China and they exported disease here. It's those DC dwellers who should be donating their salaries to government agencies, not the first President in decades who tried to reverse the trend.

    If there was a Corona virus shot, there would be less lockdown. The H1N1 had a resolution, as with all influenza. It is not the same as Corona.

    I don't see how presidents golfing has anything to do with anything. Seems both sides always comment on presidents spending time golfing. People still need to unwind during a crisis. Would they rather a president play a video game or something? This golfing obsession is silly.

    I didn't see anything he did wrong in your post. He let the experts speak, to update people and kept people as calm as possible. He acted properly at each step along the way given the information available and he started doing the right thing while Democrats were at the waning days of distracting the government with their Russia Collusion hoax and Sham Impeachment. You have no clue what he was doing behind the scenes, yet you claim to know all these mistakes but can't point to a single one. He went to war with the 'army' he inherited and will be victorious with a far more effective 'army' than the one that allowed H1N1 kill 12,000 Americans in 2009 - 2010 and the same H1N1 virus renamed to protect the Obama that killed 19,000 in the first half of the last flu season. Had the fact that the 'Seasonal Flu' of the 2018 - 2019 flu season was an extension of the Obama-Biden H1N1 Pandemic, Trump may well have known 'Seasonal Flu' was not a foregone reality and fixed alot of the problems that have hindered our ability to scale up to address pandemics in general.

    H1N1 dominated the first half of the 2018 - 2019 flu season through mid-Feb. By then, I believe there were 17.8M cases and 19,000 deaths in the US. versus the 60M cases and 12,000 deaths in 2009 - 2010. Doesn't sound to me like we have a handle on anything. Sounds more like we changed the name of H1N1 to a component of Seasonal Flu to put a faux exclamation point behind Swine Flu!

    I don't who the "we" you are referring, let alone your #s, and what meaning they have. My point, influenza and Corona are not the same. One has a resolution, the other does not currently.
