SEALs Slam Obama For Making It Political:

Serving and former US Navy SEALs have slammed President Barack Obama for taking the credit for killing Osama bin Laden and accused him of using Special Forces operators as ‘ammunition’ for his re-election campaign.

The SEALs spoke out to MailOnline after the Obama campaign released an ad entitled ‘One Chance’. In it President Bill Clinton is featured saying that Mr Obama took ‘the harder and the more honourable path’ in ordering that bin Laden be killed. The words ‘Which path would Mitt Romney have taken?’ are then displayed.

Besides the ad, the White House is marking the first anniversary of the SEAL Team Six raid that killed bin Laden inside his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan with a series of briefings and an NBC interview in the Situation Room designed to highlight the ‘gutsy call’ made by the President.

Mr Obama used a news conference today to trumpet his personal role and imply that his Republican opponent Mr Romney, who in 2008 expressed reservations about the wisdom of sending troops into Pakistan, would have let bin Laden live.

‘I said that I'd go after bin Laden if we had a clear shot at him, and I did,’ Mr Obama said. ‘If there are others who have said one thing and now suggest they'd do something else, then I'd go ahead and let them explain it.’

Ryan Zinke, a former Commander in the US Navy who spent 23 years as a SEAL and led a SEAL Team 6 assault unit, said: ‘The decision was a no brainer. I applaud him for making it but I would not overly pat myself on the back for making the right call.

‘I think every president would have done the same. He is justified in saying it was his decision but the preparation, the sacrifice - it was a broader team effort.’

Mr Zinke, who is now a Republican state senator in Montana, added that MR Obama was exploiting bin Laden’s death for his re-election bid. ‘The President and his administration are positioning him as a war president using the SEALs as ammunition. It was predictable.’

To onalandine: More than simple political gain. Too many Americans are beginning to understand the disloyalty that permeated the Democrat party’s hierarchy for decades. Senator Inhofe barely scratched the surface of Hussein’s political motives:

Also, when Joe Biden wraps himself in loyalty to this country you know that Democrat party strategists are beginning to sweat.

Can someone remind me who it was that cancelled the CIA Task Force to find Osama bin Laden? And can someone tell me who restarted the Task Force that got the intel to finally take him out?

Maybe you need to be reminded how they got the information on Osama's courier. Hint, it was a method Obama claimed was torture.

This skinny assed coward couldn't wait to show up to Afganistan and give a lame ass speech, on the backs of dead soldiers, as part of his election campaign.

Cow cookies. The intel professionals were getting actionable intelligence before the merry morons let the contractors go medieval on the prisoners.

Given the known ways in which the three stooges diddled intel, it is more likely that it was during the legal interrogation that they got the intel.

Of course, once they had the intel, it was probably their inate stupidity or their need to have a supervillian to make the Shrub look like a superhero that kept them from using the intel properly.

Sure, they all do, like Bush used taking down Hussein.

    Why shouldn't they?

    Sure he can:

o Turned around an economy that was tanking at a -9% rate.
o 26 straight months of private sector employment growth.
o 10 straight quarters of GDP growth
o 60+% increase in the stock markets since taking office
    o Got Osama bin Laden.
o Saved 2-3 million jobs with stimulus package
    o Got Atiyah Abd al-Rahman
    o Got Anwar al-Aulaqi
o Ousted Muamar Kadaffi at 1/1000 the cost of the Iraq war
o First president to decrease spending in a year in decades
o Reduced the deficit his first full year in office
o Got us out of the "mistaken" war in Iraq
o Stock markets up 100% over the past three years
o 4+ million private sector jobs created since Jan 2010
o Passed health care reform that will provide coverage to tens of millions
o Employment rate dropped from over 10% to 8.2%
o Passed financial regulation reform to prevent another housing bubble fiasco.

Romney's the one who is going to have a harder time running on his record.

Most of those have nothing to do with Obama.

Obamacare does not seem to be a strong point for him, especially if the SCOTUS shoots it down like they should.

    We are still in Iraq.

The assumption that anyone would have made the decision the president did regarding Osama Bin Laden is ridiculous. A senior CIA advisor said there was a fourty percent chance that Bin Laden was in the compound and the CIA number two said that the chances Bin Laden was in the compound were lower than the chances Iraq had WMD's. The truth is that Obama made a decision that took guts. If you are going to critizie the president, at least get your facts straight.

When you have no skills, the only skill that can be exploited is the skill to manipulate those that are stupider, more fat, and more poverty-stricken. There are a billion dollars worth of crap coming to manipulate the handicapped, stupid and black in the coming months. Forget the retarded (i.e. handicapped, stupid and black). Focus on those that are still working and not employed by the government. If Obama is re-elected, I would think that rational individuals would want secession from his brainless African dictatorship. Allow the wealthy liberal individuals to adopt the black, American Indian and illegal alien Mexican population and inhabit Florida, California and a few other chosen states. Make them THEIR problem.

Just because they happened on his watch, does not mean that it has to do with him.

Funny, the conservatives "experts" here at PF claim it is Obama responsibility.
