Oprah refused to help her sister also. I think it has something to do with African American family values; extended family members are expected to be self-reliant. If Obama had come from a Hispanic or Asian family, I think things would have been different. Hispanics (when they actually have the money) and Asians are really big on the family. Probaby one of the people high up in the print house was a liberal, he probably didn't like what what he read when he realised that one of his company's books was going to print something that could be damaging to Obama's reputation. I doubt the White House had anything directly to do with it. I think this is just another example of political self-censorship in the liberal media. Not just on televission but in books too, apparently.
