Seems that Fox News has once again been delivering rumors without a grain of truth to them. There was no "stand down" order, and help WAS sent. http://security.blogs.cnn.com/2012/...s-new-timeline-for-benghazi-attack/?hpt=hp_t1
Sure, as soon as Fox News releases the name of their source. But spies usually don't like to give their names. If you have some evidence that the information released to major news networks is false, feel free to preset it.
Again, if you have anything to suggest that this information is not accurate, feel free to present it. I find it hard to believe the CIA would not say something if they didn't approve of the released timeline and accompanying information.
congratulations on opening a dictionary and picking a word of the week. I might suggest using it more accurately
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162...benghazi-consulate-attack/?pageNum=2&tag=page There is a lot of confliction information being released right now. Notice the link is not Fox News so you can stop ranting about them.
Yes, obviously, who else would jump on the worst possible scenario to hurt the President? The "fair and balance,". Obviously!
CBS = Fox? Interesting... More then Fox is reporting on this... It seems your number one concern is how this makes the President look and not finding out what actually happened.. Disgusting.
This is the problem. There are just so many lies now that the truth is so difficult to get at. It is unAmerican, because it distorts democracy. There was a time no so long ago, that the USA had the greatest democracy in the world, we sat by and envied and desired it, but no longer. Now we want no part of it; it's a shame.
The CIA does not control the USAF and the Navy. Was air power available, and did the admin decide not to use it.
The CIA ran the Benghazi dipolmaatic mission. http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2012...IA-ran-Benghazi-consulate/UPI-44771351839600/ WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- The CIA was the real commanding agency at the attacked U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, not the State Department, senior U.S. intelligence officials said. In addition, two of the four men who died in the Sept. 11 attack -- former Navy SEAL commandos Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty -- were actually CIA contractors killed defending the mission, not State Department contract security officers, as originally publicly identified, the officials told several news organizations on condition of anonymity. Also killed in the attack were U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith. The intelligence officials said that within 25 minutes of being alerted to the attack in a desperate phone call, the CIA rushed a half-dozen security operatives to the mission from a secret base about a mile away. Yes those Fox News videos are so convincing. Fox News is the only station still desperately clinging to the rumor that anyone was denied anything. Time to face reality neocons. There is no conspiracy here.
None of this touches on other pressing issues about Benghazi, such as Stevens requests for additional security, why and admiral and general were pulled in the timeframe they were, and all that talk about a youtube video...
The admiral was pulled for something unbecoming an officer in SE Asia.. and General Ham was in Algiers sizing up and talking bout the situation in Mali on Oct 4.
