    And yet the death rate of young healthy people is still infinitesimal, like the flu. You’ve got health problems and/or you’re older, be careful. Don’t put yourself is risky scenarios. Everyone else should still be careful, but worrying about death is akin to worrying about dying every time you leave your house. If that worries you, you have an anxiety disorder and should be talking to a professional. Mask up. Socially distance until the numbers drop.

    And don't vote Republican, ever. Their leaders have made it clear they are more concerned about economics than their constituent's lives

    When you add up all the people keeping their heads down, you have a significant portion of the population. Some of those holding back are trying not to pass it along to family. If the virus is circulating, these people slow down their spending.

    The only way to get people back spending is to control COVID-19.
    Fear of injury and illness motivate people. People assess risks and adjust their behavior.
    I don't think you're going to insult people into seeing things your way.

    FEMA has been closing and stopping the funding of testing sites. Pheonix has been trying to get testing facilities/kits since April, and is not getting any help from the federal government. At present, all testing has resulted in 20% positives. People are lined up for hours, and testing kits are running out. So much for 'anyone who wants a test will get a test'.
