    Not on the football field. If you force a "captive audience" into pledging an allegiance then any protest against it is to a "captive audience" just as much. Either cut the crap or eat it.

    I think you are confused. If he is black by the "one drop" rule then he is justified to speak on behalf of the people he is compelled to represent. He is right.

    I'm sure he (and you) would love to believe that. Nobody speaks more for blacks than a half black/half white guy raised by wealthy white adopted parents.

    Oh I see, so him rightfully addressing any wrongdoing in the country means he's ungrateful.

    Sounds like you just want him to be one of those obedient "learn your place, boy" kind of blacks.

    The concept is no a new one but the practice is. That's what makes Colin Kaepernick's protest so wonderful. He is offering all America the opportunity to enjoy Freedom of Choice. It's about time!

    ... and he won't be told what he can do and not do. This is a concept, some people are having difficulty with, especially from a Black Man.

    Personally, I can relate. The more dictate to me, the less likely I will comply ... been the way since Birth. I took my spanking and kept on Trucking. :p

    just about anybody is better than a cornball brother raised by white people.

    but what i'd like to see is a debate about the issue between black people from the ghetto and the cops who patrol that ghetto.

    if it was honest, it'd be brutal and it would actually make progress.
