More than 25 school employees were arrested for sexual misconduct with students over the past week alone — including a teacher who bombarded a boy with 600 text messages and another who performed oral sex in a classroom.

What is going on in our schools these days? Sexual assaults, groomers, drag queens, graphic books.

• Boys in girls bathrooms and showers,
  • The resulting rape, covered up by the school

The school knew the next day, when they saw the video, the parents were not informed for a week and half, and the victim was forced to continue attending class with her rapist and his accomplice.

Children are not safe in schools, today.

Lucky for teachers there aren't too many of such 'bright sparks' wanting to rip down the system and turn it to to something resembling 'NASCAR society'.

 

In 2022 there were 4 million teachers in USA. 35 of them were arrested for sexual misconduct. Even one pedophilia is too much, and we should keep our children save. We must protect them and put all these pedophilia in jail.

But let’s get back to reality. 35 out of 4 million. No need to scream grooming, grooming, bathroom and shower.

Another profession in USA where only 46 of them ever hold that position. One of the 46 has at least 13 sexual misconduct. He brags about “grabbing woman by ..” May be that’s where we need to concentrate our effort , and not 35 out of 4 million.

It is not a cheap insult. It is a commentary about the cultural revolution that the populist right is trying to instigate amongst its uneducated, but not necessarily stupid flock. First it was corporate elites, then was doctors and nurses under Covid. Now it is education. That type always need someone to target and imagined boogeymen.

Why don't you put your evidence where your statement is and demonstrate that sexual misconduct in the education system is a recent phenomenon? That would be a better use of your intelligence.

The less-educated popular right attacking the education system and teachers because they have been cattle-prodded to do so by the GOP who sees education as a threat to their little political business. And the right wing media cattle-prodding additionally them to do so for a few advertising bucks in the pocket. And we wouldn't want to deny either bunch their living would we.

 

I'm more than happy to see those kinds of people get beaten within an inch of their lives.

So what’s the deal, we need to pay teachers more and then they’ll stop molesting, brainwashing and grooming our kids and actually teach our kids so they can do things like read at grade level? Can we get this agreement legally binding with body cameras for each one so we know for sure they aren’t just filling out the kids’ tests for them?

 

Its not new. There are 49.5 million school kids in US. 25 cases might sound like a lot, but it is what it is. The GOP "War On Education" mandates RW outlets like FOX and NYPOST to make it sound like every teacher is a pervert and a pedophile. Even your article talks about stats from 20 years ago.
