The state has long banned the use of state funds for abortion. At issue Monday was whether Planned Parenthood and other abortion-rights groups could continue to provide preventive health care to poor women as part of the Women's Health Program. The program provides check-ups and birth control to 110,000 poor women and 48,000 of them go to Planned Parenthood clinics. Funny, right here on the Forum PP advocates have claimed that government funding of the organization is not a significant portion of their overall operating income. Now we see PP crying like soon-to-be aborted babies.

While government subsidies to Planned Parenthood have reached an all time high, so too has the number of lives ended by this profit-driven abortion business, SBA Lists President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement. Maybe you could explain why you see some connection between the increase in funding and and an increase in abortions? There is nothing to indicate that the additional funding is used for abortions.
