    FACTS:
    * Ukrainian & parliamentary officials had for over 6 months campaigned to remove Shokin.
    * Joe Biden's speech to the Ukraine parliament when he threatened to withhold almost $1 billion in aid was in DEC 8, 2015.
    * Shokin was removed by parliamentary vote on MARCH 29, 2016 (over three months after Biden's parliamentary speech).

The story by FOX News that you quoted states:

The fired prosecutor at the center of the Ukraine controversy said during a private interview with President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani earlier this year that he was told to back off an investigation involving a natural gas firm that was linked to Joe Biden’s son, according to details of that interview that were handed over to Congress by the State Department’s inspector general Wednesday.

OK...what's wrong with this entire picture?

    * We're given this story by fired prosecutor Shokin (red flag 1).
    * We're told by Shokin that he said it during a private interview with Rudy Giuliani (red flag 2).
    * The details of the "interview" was handed over to congress by the President-appointed State Dept.'s IG (red flag 3).
    * This whole story was blindly accepted & reported by FOX News without fact-checking (red flag 4).

It needs to be investigated by a special prosecutor.

I'll let you know what's wrong with that after you tell me what's wrong with Trump, Ivanka, Jared, Don Jr., and Eric using the President's office to enrich themselves at taxpayer's expense.

Where is Joe Biden's direct involvement with Hunter's affairs?

See? I can use the same tactics against you.

Likewise, why did the Senate & White House withhold evidence for a complete investigation (we know why)? Double standard anyone?

I didn't know they did? What did the Senate hold back that should have been done in the impeachment fact finding hearings? It's the House responsibility to gather the evidence and present it to the Senate for judgment. If evidence wasn't uncovered in the House then maybe Pelosi shouldn't have entrusted the hearings to two real idiots. Better luck and next time and get competent impeachment managers.

He talked about his threat to the Ukrainian govt/parliament at the CFR meeting. That's not when he actually delivered the threat.

    Huh?

The House wanted many more witnesses + documents & records...but were denied their requests/subpoenas by the White House. Were you not following the news? The Senate wouldn't even agree to allow Bolton to testify!

What do you think the House has been trying to do from the very start? They managed to get a good number of witnesses to come forward, but there were more they wanted to question, but were blocked from doing so...and going to the courts would take too long. Another problem is the other witnesses they wanted were (except for Bolton) implicated in Trump's plot...so coming forward would've been self-incriminating. Parnas was implicated too...but he ratted out Trump/Giulian/Nunes/etc. because he had nothing to lose. Bolton wasn't implicated, nor indicted...but would've been a good witness too because he was an insider who wanted nothing to do with the "drug deal".

How about allowing all the evidence to be presented next time, huh?? Is that difficult to understand? This was a sham trial where evidence was available, but blocked from being presented. Gee...no wonder Trump skated.[/QUOTE]

You mean a corrupt, lazy prosecutor who international officials sought to be removed?

Really sad excuse. Bolton was fired in the middle of September 2019. The House impeachment hearings didn't conclude till December 2019. Plenty of time to subpoena him as a civilian.

    Why weren't they offered immunity?

It was a sham trial from the start. The biggest law Trump may have violated was a civil one. As I already said, the Democrat Senate set the bar for removal from office. Clinton committed 2 felonies including lying under oath to a Federal Grand Jury and encouraging another witness to do the same. Absolutely nothing Trump rises to that level. If you think so then cite the Federal Statutes with an explanation of how Trump violated it. Short of that this conversation is over.

Shokin was getting too close for comfort to Hunter, so Joe stepped in.

Did the House subpoena U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey R. Pyatt ?

Shifty didn’t want to hear from him. I am willing to bet the investigation in the senate into the Bidens will result in his testimony

No, that's not plenty of time. It took 8 months just to get the courts to rule on the McGahn subpoena. Plus, the senate had the opportunity to allow Bolton to be questioned, but refused to do so. Why?

No need. They knew they didn't have to testify because the White House blocked their subpoenas. That's why Mueller couldn't do anything with Trump. Trump refused to be questioned, and Mueller knew it would take too long to go through the courts.

Trump abused the powers of his office, compromised national security, used taxpayer money to leverage a foreign nation to help him in his 2020 campaign, lied to the public, hid call records, fired an ambassador who was strong on fighting Ukraine corruption, intimidated witnesses, wrote letters to witnesses telling them to not testify, and blocked lawful subpoenas for additional witnesses & documents.

Bill Clinton had sex and lied about it.

Other than Shokin's word, where's the evidence? And don't tell me FOX News & Giuliani.

Why would they subpoena Pyatt??? He, like Biden, Shokin, the whistleblower, Schiff, Pelosi, etc. have nothing to do with Trump's abuse of power.

No he didn’t...he was exonerated of those accusations by a jury.

yes Clinton took a plea deal for his crimes

A sham trial with no witnesses/evidence being allowed. I'll bet Ted Bundy would've loved to have had a trial like that..lol

He was impeached but not removed from office. The plea deal was made after leaving office to bring an end to the Lewinsky scandal.

What was the rush to get it over?

Oh please once Bolton no longer worked for the White House, the White House couldn't block anything.

Again, what crimes did he commit, please cite them along with the statute and an explanation how he broke them.

Clinton committed Perjury in front of a Federal Grand Jury (Felony) and witness tampered by attempting to get a witness to do the same (Felony). He did NOT JUST lie about sex.

For sure ...the the prosecution had a case and presented it at trial against Ted. The 17 witnesses the House managers had didn’t help them

correct, Clinton has to take a plea to end the criminal case against him.
