Sure. I think McDonald's AND marijuana should be legal, regulated, and taxed. And the tax money should be put into the healthcare system to pay for the damage they do. I think it is better to tax marijuana so that the BILLIONS of dollars that are generated by its sale don't go to Mexican drug lords but instead go to pay for health care here in America. What's wrong with that?

Why do you hate America? If you love Mexico so much go there and live with your drug lord friends. I'm going to stay here and be a patriot.:flagus:

McDonald's is disgusting, as is most fast food to be brutally honest - I will go on the record and admit that. More chemical than food - with sugar/salt thrown in so that people won't know they're swallowing something cooked up in a lab.

First of all, I take GREAT offense by the claim that OTHERS pay the bills of irresponsible people. My best friend had no medical insurance and got gravely ill. HE, not you, me or the government paid his medical bills. He got loans and suffered through it. I too got injured while uninsured. I, as he did, paid my own medical bills through loans (although the bills weren't nearly as much as my friend's). Bottom line, the responsible pay. Seems to me the trick is to find a way to make the irresponsible pay just like the responsible; not to give the irresponsible a free ride. I guess YOU could make the same argument with people defaulting on their credit card bills. The credit companies must pay those bills, and they pass them along to us with higher fees and interest. Why not have mandatory credit card insurance? :omg:

Medical bills are gouging - as a conservative I agree with this - they make payday loan companies look generous in comparison. I feel bad for your friend having to go into usurious debt just to acquire a basic necessity he needed to live.

    Cool story, bro.

Again I live in a little place called reality. SOME uninsured people are never a burden to the system but that is not true of the vast majority. Part of being an adult is realizing the you do not represent all of society. While a small handful of people are lucky enough never to have a $100K medical calamity befall them while uninsured many times that many are not. What do you want to do about them? Quit making this all personal. The majority of us non 1%ers have been uninsured at one point in time or another. There is no shame in that. Let's just fix the problem. Ok?

The same argument has already been made and the Democrats have worked to pass laws and regulations to rectify the credit card situation.

    Elizabeth Warren says hi.

Idealistically, I agree. However the tax money should ONLY be used for the damage the products cause. That will never happen. Tobacco tax revenue topped $17 billion dollars in 2009.

When an uninsured (even insured) smoker gets sick, it is said that cost is to the public when all that tax money was spent on other things INCLUDING CHILD healthcare programs (who don’t even smoke). The government has no authority to punish the free exercise of liberty. If they want to tax people who engage in risky behaviors , that's ok, but that money MUST be used to cover the expense of the risky behavior, not to buy votes! :angered:

Currently in Illinois, and probably everywhere else part of our gas tax is used to fund and subsidize public transportation! Talk about wealth redistribution! :omfg:

Just how do you propose to do that?

Obama agrees. If we want to end homelessness just create a mandate to buy a house.

The Democrats don't even know what they passed. They just voted for the POWER GRAB and EXPANSIONS to control We the People! :puke:

Again, the Democrats are the party with no ideas at all. All they want is the POWER over the people. Look what they have accomplished so far with stolen power while violating the Constitution! :omfg:

Little Caesars whole business point revolves around "5 dollar pizza"...

Honestly though, I prefer to buy from local restaurants. You should to.
