I haven't posted on this site for quite some time, however after reading this story I felt compelled to post this news report. http://www.thestar.com/news/world/2013/02/22/parents_sue_school_for_teaching_yoga_to_children.html I have been playing sports all my life (basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis etc.) One area that I also had trouble with was my flexibility. My initial reaction to yoga was very narrow minded having never actually partipated in the exercise but usually classes that I saw taking place at my local gym were predominately women. Its been a few months now since I incorporated yoga into my weekly routine and man let me tell you its been amazing. My physicial and mental health have improved. When I perform yoga I don't think about religion or any sort of political jargon, I see it as an exercise, period. I find it so unfortunate that every little change that occurs within a school creates a lawsuit and I feel this one is extremely petty. With a growing number of child growing up obese why not try new alternates to help decrease this increasing trend. Cheers, Cb4
