The Pharisees and Sadducees rejected Jesus because they believed in their manmade traditions about who the Messiah is and they didn't search the scriptures. Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Nobody killed Jesus. He willingly laid down his life for the sins of the world. 1 John 3:16

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Jesus was God incarnated and he died for our sins to pay the price of sin.

Jesus being the Son of God is a reference to the virgin birth and the Sonship of Jesus.

Hmm ... I can only find 3 God's in the Bible Enlil - God of Abraham YHWH - God of Moses , and I suppose Jesus but this does not really count if one asked the question "Who was the God of Jesus"

Jesus prayed to God the Father. God is one but he is complex in his unity because He's so vast. Jesus said not my will but thine be done. The will of Jesus and the Father are in alignment. Jesus met Abraham before the judgement of Sodom and Gommorah and talked to Moses at the burning bush.

Right -but that is different - This is not a human putting their God to the Test ... this is the God's testing themselves against each other !

On your marks - get set - Go ....

Jesus is God. Abraham and Moses met Jesus. God is seen and unseen through God the Son. God is complex in His unity. The Old Testament uses the term echad for God, the same term used for a husband and wife. The Old Testament never uses the term yachid, which implies a solitary unity.

Aside from the made up nonsense - as usual - backed up by nothing .. your claim that Jesus was praying to himself - is contradicted by the Bible which tells us that Jesus was praying to a God other than himself ... saying that the Father is Greater than he is .. and that the Father knows things that Jesus does not.

You still have not come up with the name of the God of Abraham .. "hint" it was not YHWH :)

Quit spewing made up nonsense. I could just as easily say that Zeus was the God of Abraham and Moses - and be just as correct - There is zero Biblical support for your claim .. just as there is no Biblical support for my claim.

What is supported Biblically - Historically - and through Archaeology .. is that the God of Abraham was Enlil.

Nope - at least not always. Jesus is not always in alignment with "The Father" You don't seem to know much about the Bible .. but like a whole lot to make up your own stories and pretend these exist in the Bible.

Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Only God the Father knows when God the Son will return. Mark 13:32 doesn't say that the Holy Spirit knows when Jesus will return. All members of the Trinity have the same essence but they are different persons, because God is so vast. Jesus said not my will but thine be done. The wills of the Father and Son are in alignment. Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Understanding the vastness of God is like an ant understanding the internet or physics.

Nice that Jesus existed prior to Abraham - That does not tell us who Jesus was Praying to . You are bugging out into the land of denial .. not able to deal with this question.

Right .. which shows that Jesus was not praying to himself - nor aligned with with this God .. so you are wrong on two counts - according to the Bible.

Now .. once again .. what is the name of the God that Jesus was praying to ? Who is "Our Father" who art in Heaven" - Hallowed be "Thy Name"

    Matthew 26:39

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

The only thing wrong here is your interpretation of Scripture. My quote from the NLT and your quote from the NIV Bible although they are worded differently the meaning/message hasn't changed. That verse in Scripture is referring to all the unbelievers, who are unrepentant, who continue to rebel against God. Christians understand sin is a very serious matter, it has eternal consequences, for the unrepentant unbeliever they will be separated from God for all eternity.

Here below is a thorough explanation of that particular verse in Scripture, so click on it and read it to understand the verse correctly.

?? - Are you OK mate - or are you intentionally "Not getting it" ... we all know Jesus went through with the will of the Father .. doing the Father's will rather than his own will.

What part of - your claim that their wills are completely aligned is contradicted by the passage you just posted - do you not understand ?

So .. we have wills here - not one - two minds - not one. The Son - and the Father.

How many examples would you like ? 10 .. 20 ? as throughout the narrative of Mark/Matt - "The Father" is always referred to as someone other than Jesus ..

To the early Christians - and early Church Fathers - your claim that Jesus and the Father were the same person - was heresy - and your idea remained heresy for at least until midway through the third century.

Bible Encyclopedias - Modern Scholarship - and the consensus of theological scholarship - is that nowhere in the NT - does Jesus claim to be the Father.

The one "I Am" statement that folks always bring up - is perhaps the only passages that "Could Possibly" be interpreted as such - although this is a stretch as the passage is very unclear -

This stands against a backdrop of perhaps a hundred times where Jesus claims otherwise he is not the Father and if you actually read John 8 - rather than cherry picking one sentence from the Bible and taking it way out of context - it would be good.

You seem not to understand the Purpose of Jesus - starting at John 5 "

22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him."

The Son was sent by the Father - to judge. You seem not to understand that the whole premise of John - is that Jesus is God's messenger - "The Logos" - "The Word of God" - emissary between man and God.

Now to the passage you quoted from John 8

14 Jesus answered, “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. 15 You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. 16 But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. 17 In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true. 18 I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”

28 So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up[a] the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. 29 The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.”

34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 37 I know that you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word. 38 I am telling you what I have seen in the Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.”

39 “Abraham is our father,” they answered.

“If you were Abraham’s children,” said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham did. 40 As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things. 41 You are doing the works of your own father.”

We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

Clearly Jesus is being depicted as God's messenger .. he says "God sent me" "God Taught me" "God showed me"

The other interesting thing is that the God being referred to here is stated as "The God of Abraham" - which answers the previous question as to who Jesus is praying to.. "The Father" is the God of Abraham ..

Like the Pharisees - your Father is not the God of Abraham .. as you do not believe in the God of Jesus .. nor the God of the NT for that matter .. nor the God of Abraham of the OT.

Your God is YHWH - a Son of the Most High - depicted as a flip flopping xenophobic genocidal maniac with the most petty of human characteristics.

This is not the God of Jesus -- to whom he calls out "My God , My God" Why have you forsaken me - again showing divergent wills .. so much so that the author of John decided to omit this passage .. as it did not quite fit with the narrative he was trying to tell.

but I digress .. The name of the God of Abraham - is Enlil (El) - "the Most High" , "Creator" , "The Father" , God who dwells in the mountain "El Shaddai" Lord on High - Chief of all the "Sons of God" - referred to in numerous places in the OT - Job being a cool example where Satan is among them ... also a "Son of God".
