i like evidence and i already knew the particle game is obsolete.

how many others are getting a better picture of natures processes?

particle physics contributes to our understanding natural processes. We still have a long way to go in understanding quantum level interactions - with the first experimental indication of the higgs field, we've made a giant step forward. More is to come. Imagine if we actually can understand the mechanism of spooky entanglement, or how gravity works - graviton anyone?

perhaps initially, but now far too much evidence to reveal that process without wasting resource creating the very particles they are studying

chemistry is quantum level. Nothing below the positive/negative poles of a unit. All that spinning of a proton, within magnetic fields are great speed, is not finding stuff, but creating the very stuff, they are seeing, at 22 billion and enough juice to light up montana.

    cute

what if entanglement is the potential, that is the gravity between points in time? Had you ever imagined that?

I don't think gauge bosons actually exist. In fact I think they can be reformalized on a curved spacetime in QFT.

I thought that he was just hesitating giving his answer with regard to what you asked of him regarding the Higgs particle and his work?

I hate particle physics.... but have to rely on them to think big... logically with regard to thinking bigger.

Still, the (*)(*)(*)(*) Higgs crap keeps stopping and then restarting my board...
    Argh, nevermind.

    howdy!

Most can comprehend that the higgs ave is a waste of public resources. Some need a job.

The physical understanding of nature, is not going to be found with speed imposed to mass in the accelerator fashion. Nature is not based on descriptions that are currently used with particle physics.

    a paradigm shift is unfolding

what big is understood with higgs?

Just like Indeterminacy, the effects are probably caused by an outside dimension controlling things like puppeteers pulling the strings and fooling those whose narrow vision is confined to 3D space.

The quantum leap is clear evidence that there is a 4th spatial dimension for the particle to leap into before setting down in a different place in 3D. Displacement without motion is impossible. After rejecting the obvious answer of undetectable motion, physicists went off on some weird tangent. The reason for turning away from rationality was that the 4th dimension was theorized about 30 years before and had degenerated into supernaturalism. Also, in what I call Wolfgang Physics, because the post-classicists were primarily German. The absolute submission to intellectual authority in German education never lets students think for themselves until they graduate and are turned loose to speculate. With that background, they are incapable of coming up with anything but the irrational contradictions that an objective person with no adoration of authority would immediately see in postclassical physics.

Entanglement is the same particle going back and forth through the fourth spatial dimension at the maximum velocity in that dimension. It is impossible with present instruments to distinguish between ultralight speed and the same thing happening in different places at the same time. "Spookiness" is unscientific, so it can't happen in the Corsican Brothers way that makes it seem spooky.

Gravitons are entirely within the fourth dimension. All matter except when fissioning is always partly in 4D. That's where it came from. The Big Bang was an eruption from there. All is lava.

    not so much.

Think of going to a class room and all that attended learned about a fire drill. If more than one are together at a real fire incident the reactions and coherance may be noted.

We all learn letters and then write. That is an entanglment.

At the particle level; when an em (light) is imposed to a period in time (the experiment), each specimen is entangled to that exposure, in time (dimension (layer in time)). kind of like hitting the balloon and the whole thing and all within are affected. Well all exposed within the environment are affecting the outcome (a part of it) to any experiment. Remind you of shroadinger?
please clip that line of thinking from your memory

that initial 'spooky action at a distance' is actually gravity. Always has been and likewise you will figure out that entanglement is by em, which is what mass (elements/atoms) are made of too. Particles are not things but the measured indication of that unit (ie.... called a particle) and all them different flavors.
    dont exist

I read what the writer wrote but it was colorful not reality.

It was beyond 'cute' and kind of stupid.

QM didnt predict entanglement. It was entanglement that was comprehended by Einstein that sustained that QM was wrong, in the first place. EPR Experiment.

Them facts just squashed that hole article.

But is the life, the 'vibrations' (resonance) and the comprehension of how life operates evolving?

absolutely and QM has nothing to do with it.

Wouldn't appearing in more than one place at the same time also apply within the dimension of time? We could be in the past, present, and future all at the same time. Have the Quantum Quacks sold this theory to Hollywood yet?

Back to the real world (postclassical physics is where reality checks bounce). I wish some physicist from the future would come back and tell us we're idiots for believing that time is a dimension. That would be a contradiction, but postclassical physics is all contradictions, so it doesn't matter. And even if it did matter, it wouldn't matter, because matter itself doesn't exist. It is only a crash site where dozens of drunken waves and fields run into one another.

When you exchange the dimensions in "appearing in more than one place at the same time", you end up with "appearing in more than one time at the same place".

That's called standing still and would make a rather boring movie. :)

Before you wrote your post, Prometheus, I've never heard anyone mention being "in more than one place at the same place" or "in more than one time at the same time" because those are just deliberate efforts to contradict oneself.

Why the freeze frame? In my yesterday manifestation, I could get up from the computer and make a cup of coffee. In today's frame, I am sitting here typing this. Over in tomorrow's frame, I'd definitely be checking scores so I could place sure bets on games in today's frame. Why should I waste time trying to convince conformists when I could be making money? Speaking of Hollywood motivations for physics, if Groundhog Day could be a big hit, there are definitely money-making possibilities in panchronism. "Back to the Future, Here Now, and Being Then Too"

Again the post-clacks are copying irrational theology: God being three persons in one. Your cult's pantopic theory has extension without expansion. You may claim that it is just like reaching out your hand, but it has more to do with the intersection of location and size While exploding into various parts, all with the same size as the original whole, the particle checks out which location fits best and settles there for its interactions. I guess only the theories that are "more equal than others" get accepted into the orthodox paradigm. The wisdom of the Time Lord passeth all understanding.

Your cult's authoritarian irrationalism fits other things that were started by Germans in the 20th Century. You recruit your followers from neurotic childish escapists who desperately adopt their professors as father figures so they themselves don't have to grow up and think on their own. Post-Clacks bishops get a sadistic sense of power in preaching absurdities and having the public accept them just as in "The Emperor's New Clothes." When someone questions them, they throw a sissy fit and pretend he'll listen to them when they call him an uncredentialed idiot.
