So guys, I definately support Paul for presidential, however let's say he is the GOP candidate (it's getting more and more likely by the day), who would you choose for his VP running mate?
Andrew Napolitano would be my pick simply due to the ideology he presents and the fame he has which would bind quite a lot of support.
http://www.ronpaul.com/2011-06-07/who-should-be-ron-pauls-vice-president-in-2012/ interestingly enough. Andrew Napolitano (30%, 2,332 Votes) Jesse Ventura (26%, 2,036 Votes) Rand Paul (24%, 1,909 Votes) Gary Johnson (18%, 1,380 Votes) Peter Schiff (15%, 1,180 Votes) Dennis Kucinich (15%, 1,169 Votes) Herman Cain (11%, 827 Votes) Tom Woods (10%, 773 Votes) Ralph Nader (10%, 742 Votes) Lew Rockwell (9%, 728 Votes) John Stossel (9%, 667 Votes) Alex Jones (8%, 662 Votes) Colin Powell (8%, 596 Votes) Michele Bachmann (7%, 584 Votes) Mike Huckabee (6%, 506 Votes) Chris Christie (6%, 501 Votes) I cant beleive so many Ron Paul followers voted for that liberal Jessie Ventura.
Ventura would be a Palin like pick... Cain is a fed stooge that would never happen. I'd love to see Napolitano but i see him as a great AG. Rand Paul would be my second pick. Gary Johnson would pull more votes in from the independents and agrees with about 90% of Pauls ideals.
How about TIGER WOODS.. 1 vote .0001 % He's black..he's earned redemption and forgiveness..and his swing is back... Please take that 1 iron and wup Ventura on the head.. but..If Paul is the guy..what stops him from choosing a true middle ground guy.. Romney as his VP ?
Now that's interesting, and I don't disagree, except that I don't think America would vote for a father/son ticket. Could be wrong on that one, though. For consistency of platforms, I would probably say Gary Johnson. I really like Bobby Jindal, but he just got re-elected and says he's there for the whole term.
