    Yes there is. Have you forgotten the East Anglia bust? It was quite huge.
    Climate change isn't agw.

    Yes, "created" peers. Do you not believe that tactic is used in other areas?

    True. Many deniers there were revealed as corrupt lying frauds. The denier side never regained their lost credibility after that, with most of the world now correctly assuming that everything the deniers say is a lie, unless independent evidence indicates otherwise.

    Since then I've noticed a huge change toward climate change and agw
    isn't center stage as it was 5 years ago. Still there's fear mongering in
    the ranks about carbon footprints and other "greenie" cliche's.

    Who knows? I wouldn't assume that it's happening just because I don't like what's being said. And really, where something as controversial as AGW/climate change is concerned, I would expect such fraud to be discovered in a hurry, leaving presumably honest studies and data..

    I'm in 100% agreement.
    It was discovered in short order. The 'powers that be' refused to
    acknowledge the problem and it took a disturbing incident to uncover
    the truth.

    The East Anglia incident was such an episode.
