Britain is a country where people are once again dying of hunger. These people no doubt believed it was wrong to steal.

What I find fascinating, though I knew it before, is that those who want such draconian outcomes as the shooting in the back 16 year olds are the very same people who excuse their hatred and desire for genocide on Muslims because Sharia law can, buy by no way does it always, enforce law as brutal as the Muslim haters here want.

just the rediculousness that results from the left/right tug-o-war over guns. A double barrel shotgun that holds two shotshells is illegal if you cut the barrel down. But a revolver that holds 5 shotshells, has a 2" barrel and no stock is just as legal as anything else.

Its like every law is being made in a vacuum with no sense applied to it...

There are different mind sets that are influenced by where you live. Love and tolerance are easier to do when you live outside the communities that are filled with people who need love and tolerance.

Yeah, Texas is more lenient in that regard. Most states don't allow deadly force for property theft.

The law specifies smokeless powder. A shotgun at close range using black powder as a propellent will not have a noticeable difference compared to smokeless powder. Given how easy it is to DIY load shotshells, a sawed-off black powder shotty should be every bit as good/effective as a modern powder shotty, and is legal. Just another example of firearm laws being rendered pointless and inneffective by lawmakers' ignorance of firearm dynamics.

they broke into his house...wtf is wrong with people over there when you cant even defend yourself in your own home. The home owner doesnt know if they are burglars or insane killers...in your mind you wait to see if youre a victim? wtf......lefties are fascinating to watch fumble through simple logic.

    1. He was arrested on suspicion of murder because he stabbed somebody to death.
    2. The police did not make a mistake in any way.
    3. Nobody should take anybody's word for what happened, especially not the police.
    4. If, after police investigation, Mr Osborn-Brooks's account of what happened is found to be substantially correct, he'll be released without charge.

Some people always like to make a fuss when a fuss isn't necessary. It gets boring.

So...your children are upstairs you are downstairs when a burglar enters your home...according to you we are supposed to let him run upstairs and hope he doesnt kill your children? Lets hear what a leftist does to protect their children in this situation. Im all ears.

No evidence <Mod Edit- Rule 3/4>

    <Mod Edit- Rule 4- changing another's post>

In the US you have 101 guns per 100 citizens in Germany 31 guns per 100 citizens. Not really disarmed. I can legally posses a weapon if I want, I just have to spend some time and money.
    https://de.statista.com/statistik/d...-in-ausgewaehlten-laendern-pro-100-einwohner/

If I legally own a gun in Germany and use it to defend myself no court will sentence me.
    http://www.fnp.de/lokales/frankfurt/Schuss-ins-Herz-war-Notwehr;art675,73208

Even a man who shot a fleeing burglar in his back only got a sentence on parole, the prosecutor pleaded not guilty.
    http://www.faz.net/aktuell/gesellsc...f-fliehenden-raeuber-verurteilt-13232364.html

Police changed its tactics and the number of burglary dropped by about 15% last year.

The number is 17% in Germany, far too low but not 2%

Police uses CCTV and uses CCTV from its citizens.

I knew someone would bring up Tony Martin.

1.He waited in the dark with an illegal pump action rifle and shot the burglars in the back.

    2. There was no evidence he'd reported any attempted burglaries previously

    3. His sentence was reduced from ten to five years because he was found to have a severe personality disorder.

Still, don't let the facts get in the way of chance to rant and rave, if that's what you want to do.

I missed the part where you pointed out you were there and therefore know exactly what happened.

Anything in between them? I'm allowed to use whatever defence I'd need to protect my home and belongings.

You're putting it very mildly. That person needs medical help. One can only hope he/she is paid for that nonsense, that's the only rational explanation.

Would you stab the intruder to save your children or let him run upstairs?

Some win, some lose, but the fact that even one could win astounds me.

I yell out and call the police like normal people. My neighbours would come running.

Why would a burglar run up my stairs and try to kill me, anyway?

Burglars usually just want to take your stuff and get out without being seen.

you yell out and call the police instead of protecting your children first? Your neighbors would come running and do what exactly? Yell to their neighbors? Your children would be dead before your neighbors figured out what you were yelling about. You dont know if hes a burglar or not. Wow, that was the exact response I was looking for.
Intruder in the house...runs towards lefties children...lefty yells for help to neighbors and calls police while allowing the intruder towards the children.
In my house my parents would have dropped him in his tracks before he took one step towards me or my siblings. Then called the police. Thats what a normal parent does. I cant believe there are people out there so warped by leftism that they would allow harm to their children instead of stopping an intruder. Oh well, we probably dont want those genes getting passed on anyway.
