Meanwhile back at home...We need more tax money...our roads and bridges are falling apart.

(*)(*)(*)(*) em, they get more than enough revenue now obviously, they just dont spend it on what it is supposed to be spent on.

There is always money for war and there is always money for a lavish gas station.

The Constitution of the United States tells us “The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defense and General Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States.”

So why is taxpayer money being used for this gas station as it certainly isn't providing for the welfare or defense of the United States?

It isn't surprising as they are the same people who don't think twice about shelling out hundreds of dollars for a toilet seat and thousands for a coffee maker. The military's efficiency is on par with that of most other government agencies.
