People who become offended over anti-government conspiracy theories are dangerous

Instead of calmly stating "I find your theory to be improbable." these statist nutjobs take anti-government conspiracy theories personally. You would think that someone had just called their mothers cum gurgling whores, from their reaction that someone would dare suggest something about their precious, sweet, beloved government. In another thread, people came out of the woodwork to express outrage that someone would dare suggest that the federal government may have been behind the CT shooting today. The OP was even man enough to admit that he didn't have evidence; he was just throwing out a possibility. It is this profound love of the government that borders on worship that allows the government to erode our liberties. These people are pathetic scum.

 

Conspiracy theorists are horrible people. So are nut job anti-Govt types. You fit in both categories... wow. Double the horrible!

 

You realize that people who constantly spew forth baseless conspiracy theories about governments are simply the opposite end of this spectrum, right? You just insulted people who don't take you seriously while being mad that they were not taking you seriously. Why can't they be serious, but you can? You don't get to define the default position for anyone else but yourself.

You are one and the same, just on opposite sides of the line.

The part I really wanted to highlight was their hypocrisy. They are perfectly fine with anti-Government theories, unless it's their Government. For years the left tolerated its truther base, claiming that George Bush was behind 9/11 because he wanted to seize our liberties and take us to war. These threads show up on PF regularly, yet none of the people who showed up in my thread to express their faux moral outrage ever bother doing the same thing in truther threads. These are the same hypocrites who hated the idea of war back when a Republican was in office, but now have no problem with Obama's warmongering.

I'd respect the left-wing progressives more if they could at least stay consistent, but the only two issues they won't bend on in the name of political expediency and victory are sexual license and redistribution of wealth. With virtually every other topic, they can spin their way out of it. If Obama today placed a ban on nuclear power plants, they would be on here telling us how dangerous nuclear power is. If Obama today announced plans for 300 new nuclear power plants, they would be on here bragging about what a great move this is for the country. I honestly don't understand how they expect to be taken seriously and respected.

People have a right to express baseless theories about gov't. They have the right to express their stupidity on any subject. Read any feature stories on Yahoo.com lately?

some of the loudest anti-truther voices were left wingers including me. Bill Maher for example who for most of Bush's years was the devil himself, attacked truthers regularly. No leading liberal elected official took truthers seriously, though there is a legitimate argument about the administration's actions in the summer of 2001, but let me be clear. Truthers are like birthers, like Sandy Hook truthers, like new world order protesters, etc. etc. they are all just people who want to feel important and have special knowledge and call others sheep or in the tank or dumb if they don't see the world the way they do. I take it personally because it is an insult to reality, knowledge and thinking.

 

We all know boot lickers such as yourself get butt hurt, when people bad mouth your sugar daddy.

 

Kind of like people who feel the need to defend the "official" story at every turn? (feeling important and all that). No thinking person could possibly find fault with the "official" story. Only the really smart people know better than to question known liars telling known lies. I think those same folks watch American Idol....STILL.

 

No people lost patients with such people because no matter what evidence was presented to them, they would wheel out the same old tired argument a week latter as if the previous discussion had never taken place. The attack dogs are well deployed. Strange that you should dismiss what actual professional pilots have to say about 9/11, but are so quick to embrace "official" that aren't. You'd think that a liar (like the official story teller) who changed his story several times would lose some credibility. I guess not.

The pilots (both professional and former military) are listed there for you to research, should you feel the need. I know you just take the word of known liars and the government's word on everything with one felt swoop but, some thinking people use logic and reason to arrive at their conclusions. But, maybe you're right. Those pilots are ALL lying and all the "official" blurbs are completely truthful.

It is you, fraudster, and your cohorts that continue to move the bar on this 9/11 conspiracy crap. First it was nano thermate. Never mind that the stuff is cheap as hell to make and that its components can be found in any high rise office building in the world which would make it the perfect clandestine explosive devise except for one minor problem. It isn't an explosive. It is a coloring agent for fireworks. Then there is Dr. Judy and the particle beam never mind that with currently available tech such a beam would have been so large and used so much electricity that half of New England would have had a black out. Then there is the near impossibility of finding a spot from which you could fire an essentially immobile weapon that would allow it to strike all three buildings.

They started out saying you couldn't use Cell phones from Aircraft and then after having had it demostrated that you indeed can, they quietly dropped such ludicrous claims from the second version of loose change. virtually everything claimed by the truthers is either an outright lie, a physical impossiblity or a total msunderstanding of the facts as they are. I cheerfully point this out whanever it is brought up.

And know I don't like the government, I think we have far more than we could ever possibly afford to pay for and that it is far too involved in people's day to day lives. But I don't think such a scheme is very likely at all just froma risk benefit view point their was very little to gain by it and a great deal to lose.
Clinton had already been dropping bombs on Saddam before Bush took office.
