I suppose I should have clarified then, how many times does this happen in a proper clinic (like Planned Parenthood) by an actual physician who is certified in either gynecology or obstetrics, which this man was most definitely not and everything he did was illegal including owning and running this so-called clinic of his. I think that man deserves to get the death penalty and whatever else for doing what he did.

But considering they are asking a woman who represents Planned Parenthood, just how often does this issue occur in their offices anyways?

REP. JIM BOYD: So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief. If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?

SNOW: We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician.

REP. DANIEL DAVIS: What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?

SNOW: I do not have that information. I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.

REP. JOSE OLIVA: You stated that a baby born alive on a table as a result of a botched abortion — that that decision should be left to the doctor and the family. Is that what you’re saying?

SNOW: That decision should be between the patient and the health care provider.

OLIVA: I think that at that point the patient would be the child struggling on the table, wouldn’t you agree?

SNOW: That’s a very good question. I really don’t know how to answer that. I would be glad to have some more conversations with you about this.
To answer the question .."How often does this happen?' is nearly impossible here in the US...the "cover up" under the legal, nearly restrictionless access to killing the human in the womb allows for the facts to be obscured.

    What of failed late abortions?
I blogged some examples in More Born-Alive Babies, More Born Alive Babies and Their Fates, Obama, Babies, and the Benefit of the Doubt, and Obama and the Born Alive Babies. The last count of how many of such babies are born alive in the US was by the Centers for Disease Control, who said there were 400 - 500 reported every year but no doubt many more going unreported. As CDC spokesman Willard Cates said, "It's like turning yourself in to the IRS for an audit" to report a live birth after an abortion. And nobody keeps statistics on how many of these babies die of prematurity or from their injuries, how many are allowed to die of neglect, how many are murdered, and how many survive.

491 babies born alive after failed abortions, left to die: Statistics Canada confirms
OTTAWA, Nov. 28, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Pro-life advocates are calling for a federal investigation after Canada’s official statistics agency has confirmed that 491 babies died after they were born alive during abortions between 2000 and 2009.

"In Victoria it is not uncommon for there to be over 50 babies who survive abortion each year and then are left to die or killed.1 There were 54 babies in 2007.2In South Australia approximately 7 aborted babies are ‘born alive’ each year, although some years it has been much higher, such as 14 babies in 2001 and 13 babies in 2004.3But how many cases go unreported and what about other states?Although babies born alive after abortion are entitled to medical care, because they are so unwanted and unloved by their mothers (and fathers), abortion staff make certain they do not survive. How long do these babies live for? And what is done with their bodies?"

Well, this was supposed to be a "proper clinic."

In any event, the frequency with which an unacceptable act occurs has no bearing upon the question of whether it ought to be deemed illegal; and, if so, what the penalty for the resulting law's violation should be.

    Agreed.
