Trump ignored medical science and lied about the seriousness of this pandemic - slowing response.

In fact, he directly opposed what Fauci said in NUMEROUS public briefings.

And, he actually wrote executive orders that made his direct opposition to the CDC into LAW.

There is ZERO possibility of laying this off on China or WHO.

Trump blocked the advice of medical science over and over again, and the result is that Americans died.

Trump failed to use the powers he has as president to ensure that hospitals had needed supplies. In fact, his FEMA stole supplies that hospitals had purchased, interdicting those shipments.

More recently, Trump has refused to work on increasing our testing capacity as would be necessary to carry out the plan for opening our economy that was created by the executive branch, including CDC and industry leaders - the plan that sits on whitehouse.gov, totally ignored by the White House.

Trump has continued to work to slow data on COVID spread, which impairs response.

 

I'm not a great Biden fan, either.

But, what's going on today DOES have to end.

I am outraged Trump was dumb enough to talk to Woodward. You hear him on tape stating he didn't want to start a panic. He should have known the Pol Pot left would twist this to mean he lied to the American people for nefarious purposes.

 

It's entirely possible to be honest and upfront, while not inducing panic. It's called leadership.

I predicted in another thread that not a single Trump worshiper would care about this. So far, I'm 100% correct. Some of you are even championing him for this, as if it were a gift to the American people.

Actively not caring if a couple hundred thousand of your fellow citizens die a horrible death, is not leadership. It repulsive.
