Police interrupt business owner as she was selling items on Facebook Live

A small business owner who had to close her nonessential business says that she has had several run-ins with police while she tried to make some money.

The latest incident came while Katherine Hermes was conducting a shop-from-home-style Facebook Live video from her Country Home store in downtown Bernardsville. Hermes and a friend were inside the store – both not wearing masks – showing off the products to viewers who can purchase them online. Police showed up around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

If you can't see this as pure fascism, then you are blind to the atrocities happening to small businesses daily! People need to make a living and this person was merely trying to stay a float by selling products online.

 

Sounds more like she was in violation of a LOCAL ORDINANCE regarding shopping hours in a Business District.

If she wants to sell ONLINE she can get herself a website like everyone else does and then there won't be any problem at all.

To call this an "atrocity" just exposes the DESPERATION of the supporters of the Covidiot-in-Chief.

 

Why does she need a website while FB live is a good platform and used by millions of people to sell their wares. She was in her locked place of business with a closed sign where her product is. She was not in public so why do they need mask? She is trying to save her business and you can't find the "atrocity" of an authoritarian government not allow you to make a living? The shop owner is dealing with the Police Chief because that is how much influence she has and he is walking a fine line trying to uphold the law while this ENTITLED covidiot believes that the law does NOT apply to her.

The companies set the hours, because it was in the discretion of the company in question. Marxist ideology however, holds that the public trust(via government fiat) owns the companies. In other words, by making laws on how long(or short) a company is open, we move closer to marxism, and further disown an open economy.

When corporations set hours of work people, including CHILDREN, were FORCED to work up to 14 hours a day 7 days a week with ZERO time off for any reason whatsoever.

Some regulations, yes exist to prevent child exploitation(not that such would be a problem today. No, a problem today is whether or not our democratic meisters will allow us to actually work.). But those regulations do not constitute ownership of the means of production, but instead rules governing over the privileges of running a business.

When one dictates the business operation, especially where there exists no prior public rule or necessity, it is the government seizing ownership. It's Marxism. The Democratic Party has decided to go hard left and is worse than Trump in this election.

I believe that if the Democrats are victorious, we will continue to lose our civil and human rights as they are no longer 'essential'. So I will vote Republican, to prevent the marxist nightmare from being a reality.
