At least try to live up to your own standards. Come back and try again.

I was just responding like to like

Why should I put in all the work

However at least you are now acknowledging that your sources are less that ideal

My sources are fine. By your own ethic your own sources are not acceptable.

YOU are expected to do the work and prove your own point. Expect me to prove your point is ridiculous. Logical modern thinking people don't expect other people to prove thier points. That is textbook logical fallacy called a strawman arguement. Time to change your ideas and be reasonable, logical, and leave behind dark age thinking.

Good thinking is to compare apples to oranges? Misidentify / mislabel the incident as an "accident"?

"accidental shooting deaths" covers accidents of all types; drop it, cleaning it, etc etc.

The topic is deliberate but reckless shooting by police that injures innocent bystanders, persons wrongly identified etc.

I was told-I dont have a source other than the credibility of the person who said it-that the police make more of this kind of mistake than civvies do.

maybe someone has a source for this, it may not be correct.

The 'hunter' in guncontrol language is really 'hostage'? I now it is not very logical, but to them in la la la land it is logical.

It is like talking to a creationist about evolution.

No creo ever has any actual data, no facts to work with so..

    -they make things up

-they distort and misrepresent the work of scientists

    and

-they will never ever concede the smallest point even if it is irrelevant to any conclusion

Yup very similiar to hostage situation except there were no hostages, no kidnap, no criminal, and no police.

Other than that a perfect match.

And since that is an anecdotal story, and using the level of evidence the OP has been offering - anecdotal stories, then this should prove that American Politicians should not be trusted with guns - right?

Another logical fallacy. You created the opinion for your opponent. Come back and try again with a logical arguement.

It is pretty obvious I was mocking his comparison between a hostage situation and and accidental shooting with the VP. Try to keep up. In a free market of ideas, bad ideas should be mocked.

I was referring to the OP - still trying to work out what point you are trying to make

    That your police are incompetent?

    That guns are dangerous?

That civilians should be armed but the police should not be armed?

That even well trained personnel can misfire in a tense situation which means that "concealed carry" as a method of defence against real situations is a laughable joke more likely to put innocents at risk than to stop a perpetrator?

What is this based on? Are you an expert on defense with a firearm? I don't see any citations or did you once again just make this up?

Sad but it's going to happen in a society that is awash with firearms. But it seems that most Americans are okay with a gun-laden society and therefore with police who are always working with a heightened sense of danger (not just healthy caution) from firearms and who will, on occasion, over-react and react far too quickly.

Snort, video by CBS network news. It happned and it was real. In gun control la la la land this is ignored and swept under the rug.
