This is the act of a Republican controlled state legislature and executive. Of course it's both the Tea Party and the GOP, representatives in the state's legislature and the governor of the state. Who else? John McCain has no authority to act as an agent of the state of Arizona, except as a US senator. He has nothing to do with state government business.

 

Oh yeah, the RINOs. Boehner has been pushing ofr amnesty for a while. Meanwhile, Obama has been ejecting more immigrants than any other President.

I hope that Obama comes to his senses and works with Boehner to get some good legislation passed that will end the nonsense that happened in 1986... causing decades of protectionistic turmoil.

Boehner has to wait for the last Republican Primary to finish....when it'll be too late for the Tea Partyers to do anything about it. Or atleast not long after the Election in November.

 

Wasn't that the point of my post? I said they should be there, and that their resources would be better spent helping. Sorry, I don't control them. But that's what I'd do. In the meantime, at least the GOP controlled state government is doing what it can. Aren't they? It wasn't the Democrats that sent the supplies. They're not in control.

What a crock of crap. Anyone with the least amount of intelligence has to know Boehner wouldn't touch this amnesty with a ten foot poll if Obama and Democrats hadn't pushed it. The only reason Boehner is pushing it now is he is hoping to get more of the Hispanic vote and don't want the Republicans looking like they are anti Hispanic. It's all politics.

That expense will come from our tax dollars. Tax dollars we don't have. Obama has open the borders to these people and no way to shut it, because Obama doesn't want to shut it. I think we should just print up a naturalization certificate for each alien invader as they cross the border......in whatever name they give......no background or medical checks.......and hand 'em an EBT card as well and a Section 8 housing voucher.......and directions to the local Emergency Room to serve as their primary care provider for the strange diseases they are bringing in........that is essentially what is happening now. Actually, it was both Bushies, Reagan, McCain, the US Chamber of Commerce and others who threw the borders open. You see, it was Republican thinking at the time (Bush 43 and Vicente Fox were especially tender) that we could get cheap labor and bust up the service unions at the same time. Remember 43 saying "they'll do work Americans won't do"? Obama has DOUBLED border security. If you think the left-leaning labor unions wanted all those illegals, you're nuts. My feeling is "you broke it, now quit whining."

Questions are open ended and - as most surveys do - worded to tilt in a certain direction.

For example, "certain requirements" can mean anything the respondent wants. Those 2 vague words make all the difference.

"Polls" (Left and Right) are like ********s, Gorn -- everybody's got one. And, certainly, there are Right Wing polls that are just as unreliable and data-biased as those on the Left. That's one reason I scoff at "polls", of every origin, most of which are little more than manipulation and propaganda.

Let's see how people actually VOTE this November. That will tell us definitively whether or not America is going to go all the way to the bottom of the national death spiral that the Obama regime has sent us down, or whether we will recover at the last minute and survive the most negligent and lawless presidency in our history.
