    Saint Malachy’s Malediction.

    The resignation of Pope Benedict.
    Reminds us of Malachy’s maledict.
    His prophecy unfurled.
    The end of the world.
    And tribulations it would inflict.

    Saint Malachy, in year 1139,
    Laid out his vision divine.
    His list of the popes.
    Dashes our hopes.
We’re now at the end of the line!

Here is the gist of this tome:
    ... It’s time for man's final shalom.
    Because Petrus Romanus.
    Will soon be upon us.
To reign over destruction of Rome.

Didn't we just get past the 2012 "End of the World" silliness? Do we really need another impending Apocalypse Prediction to glom on to? Live every day as if it is your last--it might be; your personal apocalypse may be today--don't put off getting right with all and then you don't have to fear what may or may not be.

That's good mathematics but the good book still states that NOBODY knows when the end is coming but himself. The words and/or context(s) are clearly a story and lesson as well as symbolic resonance to the state of the world and what it will become due to human fault and error with the utter arrogance and selfishness we constantly exhibit. 144,000 will ascend into heaven to be judges and when judgement is passed, it is absolute from the lord almighty.

    Why?

Why do humans exhibit human fault and error with utter arrogance and selfishness ? Who made these imperfect things called humans? Obviously somone who had terrible flaws and couldn't produce perfection.

Why 144,000? I know many people who deserve a reward for a good life...and many others know some too and that , around the world and throughout history would certainly add up to more than 144,000.

Why not just take those 144,000 and put them in heaven....why play games?

Why make them at all? To prove a point? Why?

When a head of state resigns, it's considered news. When a Pope resigns, it's considered BIG news since popes never really resign in the first place with a few notable exceptions. So, when something like this happens , it's gonna make headlines. This has nothing to do with how friendly the media is to the Pope. lol.

Even Sarah got a baby when she was high aged - so perhaps you will have a chance to get an intelligent answer on your ideas one day.

The 144,000 aren't the average Tom, Dick, and Harry. They are 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. So unless you fit that inside qualification you are out of luck.

I pointed out that the 144,000 were comprised of 12,000 from each one of the twelve tribes of Israel. Being a good person won't get you into that crowd unless you are one of those specified 144,000. In other words, being good doesn't have squat to do with it. It's an ethnocentric qualification that matters.

I will explain: Like Wyrd of Gawd explained, from each of the 12 tribes of isreal will be 1200 people that are the chosen. They do ascend into heaven as judges like I explained originally. Look from this point of view (open I might add) They have walked and lived amongst the people because they were/are human and they understand that human nature and faults as well as the temptations and things but they overcame what we as people constantly deal with on a regular basis and are always not neccessarily good people. Good will be rewarded with peace and everlasting life, that is what they get for being so good and will not have to worry aboutwar, death, plague, hunger, ect.... it is not to prove a point because "HE" doesn't have to prove anyhthing. The word tells how satan wants to be equal to "HIM" and has bade blastphemous cursing against what he stands for and what he embodies. He tested Job with disease...boils busrting over his body with pakn and suffering. He wanted to prove that the only reason Job was such a loyal follower, as symbolism related to everyone else that were loyal and faithful believers and followers, because god rewarded them with things..... Job never questioned god, he questioned what he did to deserve what was happening to himself. The devil failed because Jobs "FAITH" delivered him into better life of living as he knew god would never do anything like that to him. Now to answer who made these imperfect things.....HUMANS made us imperfect. God created us perfect and the deception of man/woman caused us to become infected with imperfection. Its a price to pay for breaking rules. So we were cast out of the garden of eden... THE ARROGANCE: we as a people tend to think and feel we know the answer for everything and if we can't find the answer through science, we use theory and build an answer or understanding by categorizing EVERTHING! The lack of believing is a malady shared throughout the world and probaly possible other worlds.
THE SELFISHNESS: we as a people only think predominantly of ourselves when servicing or helping others. Most people are this way and its an objective viewpoint but yet supported by perceptive facts since that's what most society depend on.
NOTE: if all else fails or you have more question on anything I have explained to you, try going to church or picking up a Bible and read. If there is something you do not understand in the bible or other literature supporting the bible then go and ask an actual priest, preacher, deacon, ect and they will be more than happy to assist you. I don't go to church on a regular basis or study everyday and definitely not a "bible thumper" but I do have basic knowledge and don't mine sharing it. However, feel free to attxck me directly...hence the screen name: Contraversial Prime....

your comments are about comments (scriptual comments yes, but they are also just comments) which are very much outdated. the "biblical" comments which you are discussing are very much outdated. there are no "twelve tribes of israel" in existence; not for many and many years.

Benedict XVI resigns due to homosexuality in Vatican?

    22.02.2013 | Source: Pravda.Ru

The head of the Roman Catholic Church, Benedict XVI, has not resigned voluntarily. The real reason for the early retirement of the Pope is a series of scandals that have occurred in the Vatican recently. In particular, in the middle of December 2012, Benedict XVI received a 200-page report on the blackmail of high officials who had been found guilty of homosexuality.

The document, Italian publications say, contains incriminating evidence against several Vatican cardinals, RBC reports. Moreover, some cardinals are suspected of corruption.

The Vatican has not commented on this information yet. Press Attaché of the Roman Catholic Church, Federico Lombardi, only urged everyone to mind their own business.

Meanwhile, according to unconfirmed reports, the Vatican has already set up a commission under the chairmanship of Spanish Cardinal Julián Heransom to investigate these facts in the Italian media.

However, Benedict XVI does have health problems. Italian journalist and expert on the Vatican, Marco Tosatti, learned that the Pope was suffering from high blood pressure and went nearly blind on one eye. "The Pope suffers from sleep disturbances. He fell off his bed several times during his trips abroad. He walks with a cane at his residence because of the pain in hip and knee joints," the journalist said.

Benedict XVI announced his decision to resign on February 11 during the Consistory of the canonization of the martyrs of Otranto. The news came as a complete surprise for the Vatican. The last time when it happened was in 1415: Pope Gregory XII resigned from his post not to let the church split.

Benedict XVI will serve before 5 p.m. February 28, when his renunciation takes effect. The Pontiff will hold another public audience on February 27 at St. Peter's Square. Six weeks later, the Vatican must elect a new pope.

More coverage on this, it seems clear that LGBT infiltration had something to do with it. whether they are responsible for the charges brought against him remains forthcoming.

Pope is almost 86 and prefers to write books. His health is shaky and he is tired of dealing with Italians who are infuriating at best with their intrigues and whisperings. Not very German.

Utter slander. This is entirely false and DISGUSTING that the media is so blatantly hostile. I hope there is legal recourse and that the Vatican pursues it.

you are very much naiive. ?what is it when the vatican had a boy's choir of castrati. yes, the vatican had a boys choir (and for all i know, they still do have this abomination) of castrated boys; sexualy mutilated to give them a false high voice. it was claimed that this was then the voice of angles. the vatican religion is no different than the byzantin religion when they have castrated priests call "archimandrit", and no different from the dali lama and the other castrated budhist monks. such total disregard for the natural state of human creation has also housed the infamous vaticans closet homosexual priests and altar boys.

WAKEUP this has been a fact for years.

Gay Vatican Blackmail Might Have Pushed the Pope OutBy John Hooper, Guardian UK

    24 February 13

potentially explosive report has linked the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI to the discovery of a network of gay prelates in the Vatican, some of whom - the report said - were being blackmailed by outsiders.

The pope's spokesman declined to confirm or deny the report, which was carried by the Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

The paper said the pope had taken the decision on 17 December that he was going to resign - the day he received a dossier compiled by three cardinals delegated to look into the so-called "Vatileaks" affair.

Last May Pope Benedict's butler, Paolo Gabriele, was arrested and charged with having stolen and leaked papal correspondence that depicted the Vatican as a seething hotbed of intrigue and infighting.

According to La Repubblica, the dossier comprising "two volumes of almost 300 pages - bound in red" had been consigned to a safe in the papal apartments and would be delivered to the pope's successor upon his election.

The newspaper said the cardinals described a number of factions, including one whose members were "united by sexual orientation".

In an apparent quotation from the report, La Repubblica said some Vatican officials had been subject to "external influence" from laymen with whom they had links of a "worldly nature". The paper said this was a clear reference to blackmail.

It quoted a source "very close to those who wrote [the cardinal's report]" as saying: "Everything revolves around the non-observance of the sixth and seventh commandments."

The seventh enjoins against theft. The sixth forbids adultery, but is linked in Catholic doctrine to the proscribing of homosexual acts.

La Repubblica said the cardinals' report identified a series of meeting places in and around Rome. They included a villa outside the Italian capital, a sauna in a Rome suburb, a beauty parlour in the centre, and a former university residence that was in use by a provincial Italian archbishop.

Father Federico Lombardi, the Vatican spokesman, said: "Neither the cardinals' commission nor I will make comments to confirm or deny the things that are said about this matter. Let each one assume his or her own responsibilities. We shall not be following up on the observations that are made about this."

He added that interpretations of the report were creating "a tension that is the opposite of what the pope and the church want" in the approach to the conclave of cardinals that will elect Benedict's successor. Another Italian daily, Corriere della Sera, alluded to the dossier soon after the pope announced his resignation on 11 February, describing its contents as "disturbing".

The three-man commission of inquiry into the Vatileaks affair was headed by a Spanish cardinal, Julián Herranz. He was assisted by Cardinal Salvatore De Giorgi, a former archbishop of Palermo, and the Slovak cardinal Jozef Tomko, who once headed the Vatican's department for missionaries.

Pope Benedict has said he will stand down at the end of this month; the first pope to resign voluntarily since Celestine V more than seven centuries ago. Since announcing his departure he has twice apparently referred to machinations inside the Vatican, saying that divisions "mar the face of the church", and warned against "the temptations of power".

La Repubblica's report was the latest in a string of claims that a gay network exists in the Vatican. In 2007 a senior official was suspended from the congregation, or department, for the priesthood, after he was filmed in a "sting" organised by an Italian television programme while apparently making sexual overtures to a younger man.

In 2010 a chorister was dismissed for allegedly procuring male prostitutes for a papal gentleman-in-waiting. A few months later a weekly news magazine used hidden cameras to record priests visiting gay clubs and bars and having sex.

The Vatican does not condemn homosexuals. But it teaches that gay sex is "intrinsically disordered". Pope Benedict has barred sexually active gay men from studying for the priesthood.

This is as bad as bad could be....the office of the ope and the Vatcan have become corrupted by Satan....due to Sun Myung Moon in his life insisting that the Holy Spirit was "female", this being in reality the great harlot "ISIS"; even so this main tenet of belief for the Unification Church which would ostensibly make Jehovah a woman is blasphemy;as symbolically Jehovah would be theologically "castrated" by our Korean adulterer and very dead man....in his corrupt theology that has spread this "wine of his fornication" with ISIS into every church...especi ally the Catholic Church, since Moon published his book "Divine Principle" in 1973; not knowing or perhaps denying that the Holy Spirit of God is Jehovah Himself; in Moon's book he has my Father Jesus "marry" this discarnate "holy spirit" of Sodom and Egypt; linking the Son with his OWN Father; by which christianity was and is itself invaded therefore by Satan himself..
    -11 # Unicorn144 2013-02-24 10:50
With the fall of Sun Myung Moon by his adultery, while married; and which produced Sammy Pak in his satanic fallen marriage; the Unification Church is thus now a discarnate tool of Satan the Devil, as a vehicle of complete theological falsehood....an d because of this wine of wrath in their marriages being sread globally this Lie is taking down the Church itself; as their own adulterous drunkeness now proves..with these results, and now spreading their mistaken belief and satanic inversion and perversion of the Holy Spirit as their 'new truth"...propag ated by lucifer; "Mun Yong-meyong"; the "Shining Dragon" of Korea..Sun Myung Moon's real birth name...as that "evil servant" of Matthew 24:48...I warned them; but no one would listen..but Bless all of thee in the Name of my Father Jesus; Inshallah.

As a Christian one still has to admire the life-long dedication of one who has been a follower of the Gospel of Jesus Christ "as they know it."

And as a man, I can emphasize with the decision that men of advanced age have to make as in not being the young man that they were, and must acquiesce their work to another.

Paul talks about 'this body of humiliation," as one that gets tired, requires constant maintenance, ages, and eventually fails us in this life. (my para). This is the plight of earthly man...
