Scientists from Porton Down have not been able to establish where the novichok nerve agent used to poison Sergei and Yulia Skripal was made.
Gary Aitkenhead, chief executive of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) at Porton Down, told Sky News they were not yet able to prove it was made in Russia.

Apparently these experts do not have proper qualification as even Theresa May could immediately figure out that this poison came from Russia. :D

Russia should get a big apology, one written even in the sky all over Europe, or Britain should be nuked. A nice bomb in the English Channel would do very well thank you.

Why do I think things are getting hot for May?

I don't believe the UK should have said anything unless they really did know. However having said that, the article also says that it is not their job to give that answer. It is for others.

The fact that it is not their job does not mean that they do not know. Vice versa, only qualified scientists can make a judgement on the origin of the substance. They are just not allowed to tell this. Where do you think intelligent services get relevant information? Of course, from the scientific labs which make analysis. I am sure, if there were traces that this originated from Russia, it was immediately announced by the experts.

He does say he does not know as your op says but he also says it is not his job to know and that there are other people who will provide that answer.

what it seems to me is that the headline is misleading. It is saying this particular place does not know where it comes from when he is saying it is not their job to know that. Clearly if they are not the people responsible for giving that information, they cannot give it. He says other people can.

I just think the title is misleading. If you want to know where it was made then you have to go and ask the people who can know that, if anyone can.

I don't have energy in this fight. I am just saying if other agencies are the ones who are able to say where it comes from then going on about this one not knowing is a bit absurd when it is not its job.

The actual origin of the poison notwithstanding, there is little doubt the elements of the Russian regime were behind the assassination attempt of Sergei and Yulia Skripal. It was a Putin act of revenge!

Because he was a double agent and convicted of treason...."according to former FSB officer Boris Karpichkov who fled to the UK in 1998, Skripal was included by the Russian FSB into a hit list". Nothing goes on in Russia without Vlad the Invader's consent!

He could be punished while being in Russia. Why to wait for 8 years? By the way, for Russia he is a traitor, and you know which way the traitors are treated everywhere. In the US he would at best got a lifetime prison, but most probably would be simply killed.

It's military grade nerve agent developed by Russia who also coincidentally had a motive to kill Skripal.... who's family members have been dying mysteriously one after another. I think it's probably a good thing the Russians decided to be so obvious in this murder ,because now perhaps there will finally be justice for the other members of Skripal's family.

Because he was released rather quickly in a spy exchange with the UK....and of course it would look better for the Putinistas in he was killed in England instead of Russia behind bars!

Well, why deny then that Russia had killed him? According to you that would have been the acceptable thing to do!

Automatic gun Kalashnikov is also developed in Russia. Shall it be considered a Russia's fault when someone is killed with this type of gun?

Because so far there were no proofs presented to the public that he was attempted to be killed by Russians. Scietists, as you can see from these knews keep silence about the origin of the poison for whatever reasons. And just the words of politicians, like Theresa May can not be trusted without proofs.
Another, thing, you know, in order to be killed one does not need a lot of time. Skripal was arrested in 2006 and only in 2010 he moved to the UK. Pretty a lot of time to make a revenge. So, I deny it as there was no motivation to kill him. Besides, as I said earlier, there are so many run away KGB people in the west that are much worse and dangerous for Russia than Skripal (like General Kalugin) who are still alive...

No intelligence service gives their sources like that. Russia knew UK would never tell the source. So now they say, "oh look Brits can't tell the source so there's no proof. Where's the proof?". Same old Soviet propaganda...
This attack might have been done by Russia to find the mole as well.

Fckin morons... Did you think Putin said he hated traitors for nothing? He said so because he knows there are "tens of" moles in Russian state agencies...

I heard that once upon a time in the east an intelligence agency used to be "headed" by a CIA mole... Lol

Not even remotely the same thing V, and you know it, but... yes I'm not happy with the way the CIA and KGB distributed millions of AK47s all over the world, created a ******n mess that many countries will never recover from.

Why ordering his kill sooner? What makes you think "sooner is LOGICAL"?

A horse? Don't let it get to you...

I don't drink... pissed is my normal

    What mud hole... this one?

All of it, except for the trolley guys the forklift operators and all the other bullshit you posted. I object to the obvious, the destabilisation of the country (history repeating itself in Donbass, Bosnia & Herzegovina) the murder and maiming of civilians by the thugs these weapons are handed to, no accountability etc the big issues the obvious issues that are not so obvious to you... obviously.
No Russian, but I watched one of the Russian tv shows once with subtitles on netflix, understood some of the words.. like problema, similar to english etc. Clearly the Russians stole the English words from the English dictionary cause they were too lazy to make up their own.

"Scientists at a U.K. government laboratory have not verified the source of the substance used to poison Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia. "But we provided the scientific information to the government, who have then used a number of other sources to piece together the conclusions they've come to."

    https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo...gent-s-precise-source-drawing-russian-riposte

But some bloke in Number 10 knows better . . .

“It is our assessment that Russia was responsible for this brazen and reckless act and, as the international community agrees, there is no other plausible explanation.”

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-down-proof-evidence-mod-latest-a8286761.html

But fear not, because there's a simple way for the government to resolve it once and for all (before we all lose the effing will to live? :roflol:) . . . keep hiring international experts from all over the planet until one of them says what the government wonks want them to say? I mean, it's only taxpayers' money? [IMG]
