That the status quo is broken.

Our education system sucks. Point blank, it's terrible. And the idea of a centralized Department of Education is mostly at fault.

It's funny that the left points to other countries healthcare systems as a model for our nation, and then subsequently ignores those same country education system even though we pay more for education and achieve lesser results.

The only difference, the education system is unionized and the healthcare industry is not. That's the ONLY reason why the left holds these clearly conflicting positions.

Teachers should keep their personal opinions to themselves. My son came home one day to tell me about his teacher. She told the class that anyone that doesn't vote for Obama is an idiot.
