why isnt there any recoil on his left shoulder? and there is smoke coming out of the right side of the barrel?

 

if you look close at the end of that top barrel there appears to something inside?

Since Obama hit the range this week, certainly we can see often in the past he did the same, we wouldn't want to imagine this just a photo op or something... I'm guessing some good little liberal is ready to present all the evidence that Obama is a great 2nd Amendment rights sort of guy, where are all the other photo ops of him at the range???? I'll wait...

 

Should have elected Ron Paul. Nobody would need to see a picture of him shooting an Italian shotgun to prove his gun friendliness. It wouldn't have been an issue because he wouldn't have tried to ban semi-automatic rifles to begin with.

Obviously the picture has been faked. Modern shotgun ammo does not smoke,
Nor do barrels emit smoke from the side.

You mean to tell me that this guy not only gets to shoot (*)(*)(*)(*) in his backyard with his slick Eye-talian double-barrelled shotty but that he also gets to have stuff like remote control drones, MINI guns, and nuclear armament? And he wants to keep other honest citizens from owning semi-automatic rifles and guns that hold 11 rounds? Something has gotten out of whack along the way.

I'm pretty sure a shotgun could be pretty scary and also destructive in all the wrong circumstances, but that still hasn't produced one iaota of proof that Obama was at the 'range' over the last four years... I'll continue to wait...

 

A couple of quick things? I dislike Obamas policies but the comments that this picture is faked on this board are incorrect.

1. Someone said "modern day shotgun ammo doesnt smoke". It most certainly does. Read this wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smokeless_powder regarding "smokeless powder" or head on out and shoot some clay.

2. Why is he aiming so low you ask? Clays arent always launched high, wheres the challenge in that? Besides who says he is even shooting at a clay and not just popping off a round for a photo op? That doesnt mean he isn't firing a gun.

3. "Theres a thingy at the end of the barrel" that is a choke. It is there to either restrict or enhance the spread of the pellets as they leave the barrel. With this being an "over-under" shotty ( two barrels, one on top of the other, and each with their own chamber for a shell) in most circumstances you would see two chokes so the shot pattern would be similar. I have seen some competition guys use a more open choke on the first firing barrel to maximize spread when in close (first clay) and then use a tighter choke to maximize distance for the second clay as it will be a bit further away. Not all chokes stick out like the one seen here.

3. Why is there smoke leaving the sides of the barrel? If you look close there is some porting on the sides of the barrel. So that smoke is naturally going to leave the barrel there.


I doubt that Obama has fired a gun of any type more than this once and I'm sure that this is a one off photo op but, it looks like he is firing it to me. You can tell by his posture that he isn't experienced at this and probably couldn't hit a single clay if he was to really try. A photo op like this just proves how stupid he thinks we are. As if we are going to forgive him all his trespasses against our rights because he shot a gun for a picture "derp, he is just like me because i saw him shooting in a picture i really like everything he says now, derp"
