It is a country within the Kingdom of Denmark. Like Scotland is a country in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Entire countries are not "sold" in this day and age. Some territories have been sold in the past, but not in post-colonial times.

The idea is absurd. The fact that you are trying to defend Trump for having such a moronic idea only serves to show how much of his con-man Kool Aid you have drunk.

She admitted defeat. It took a few hours, but so what? That is hardly unhinged. And I have never seen anything saying she does not accept the results.

If Trump loses he will be flinging slings and arrows in all directions. He will question the integrity of the electoral system. Hell, he might even refuse to vacate the WH. Or at least threaten to do so / imply that he will do so.

Greenland isnt autonomous by definition.

It has no military, and the Danes can't even get their military to the island.

The only military presence is the USA's.

This is pretty much a confirmation that Trump supporters just want to go back to the days of outright colonization, where the livelihoods of entire nations' inhabitants are bought and sold at whim. Sure, Greenland may not be fully autonomous, but if you think there is any chance that this "sale" would ever go through in the modern era, you're a loony tunes.

What if the people of Greenland supported this? Lots of people in Hong Kong would love to still be a UK colony, and the vast majority of people in Gibraltar want to remain a colony and not given to Spain.

 

Its no more colonization than Samoa or the virgin islands.
