Images from the prior fundraiser at Bedminster showed virtually no one wearing a mask while crowded together waiting for the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief. FYI NJ was the 2nd hardest hit state after NY but apparently it doesn't apply to the wealthy elite who live in Bedminster.

I am not familiar with Bolsonaro's case but I remember seeing a clip from Boris Johnson where he said he felt very lucky and said that he could have just as easily died from the experience. Lets hope Trump has a much milder experience.

 

This shows that the coronavirus isn't over yet and we all should take care of ourselves and wear a mask.

If this news is actually true I have to wish Trump and his wife the best.
That is the proper thing to do, as a decent human being.

Sadly, same decency can not be applied to Trump.
He is capable of anything when it comes to avoiding his possible election defeat.

Actually, doing it remotely would give a huge amount of (needed) control. It would allow the moderator to enforce the rules that both candidates already agreed to. Particularly the 2 minute response without interruption.

 

So there are several potential outcomes and for the sake of discussion let's not include the worst case scenario because no one wants that outcome.

Best possible outcome is that the wannabe Fascist-in-Chief just has a mild case but then he uses that as a blunt object to place others needlessly at risk.

Next possible outcome is similar to that of Boris Johnson and he is hospitalized and then recovers and continues to use himself as "evidence" that it is NOT a "big deal".

Then comes a lengthy hospital stay that lasts through the election thereby reducing his impact on the outcome. In some ways this might actually work in his favor since a great deal of the negativity felt towards him is self inflicted. With less vitriol he might end up gaining some more support. That raises the possibility that this is a campaign tactic to garner sympathy for what is essentially a very unsympathetic POS.

Yes, all of the above is speculation and given that he will have access to the best healthcare he is probably going to come through this one way or another.
