The IBD and the LAT/USC Daily Tracker were close through the cycle. Rasmussen is no fan of DJT, but the Razzy did get it right at the end as I recall.

The Real Clear average still had Clinton up by 7 points 10 days before the election. The "polling blind spot" is probably worse now than in 2016.

How would you like to measure and evaluate public opinion? Is that irrelevant in your mind?

Not really. The spread is only 35dem in the house and 6rep in the Senate. That really isn't an as* kicking.

PV or EC? What gets you in the WH? On top of that, not that it really matters at this point, the only reason why HRC got the PV was NY and CA. Take those two states out....

Trump spent the last month "educating" and the numbers have only gotten worse for him in that time span.

The MSM/Dems have spent the last 2 years smearing Trump and yet the numbers are rising.

    That wall is coming.

I think he is trying to do it the right way. But, with those two jerk offs, I don't know/understand why he just dosn't say screw it and declare a emergency. on top of that a unsecured border is a national security issue.

Oh I am intimately familiar with every trumpette spin on the historic defeat for trump in 2018. The Republicans who retired were all perfectly capable of reading the polling data from their own districts to understand how poorly trump polled locally.

Trump personally endorsed about 75 candidates, almost exclusively in GOP heavy districts. Of those, about 25% won. By comparison, Obama endorsed around 75 candidates, almost exclusively in highly competitive districts. Of those, about 55% won.

What numbers are rising? Did you ****ing forget the topic of this very thread?

Trump's approval rating with his favorite poll, Rasmussen, has dropped to a -12.5 spread.

Trump ain't getting **** for his wall. He will be lucky to get enough for a personal beaded curtain.

    Rasmussen leans heavy GOP.

And the average of the polls in 2018 said that Democrats would win by 7. They won by 7.5.

Historic defeat my old, hairy bony ass. How do you like the new, improved, solidified Republican Senate? I bet you do. The Congress means nothing, it’s impotent. Looking forward for two years investigating Trump is what I do and no Liberal agenda progressing one bit.

Ah, and by the way... is not Trump predicted to lose his next election by something like 99.999% of polls and pundits? :roflol:

40 seats in the house, down 2 in the Senate when they had 26 on the chopping block, and 7 governorships is an ass whipping.

9.8 million votes is a historic level defeat.

Y’all really shouldn’t use “The wall is coming” — it’s based on a book that is based on a wall failing. Makes you look like a complete fool...

The wall isn’t “coming”, it’s already there — and failing...

Oh I don't know, maybe because there's actually no emergency and it would be a gross abuse of power? I know to trumpets the ends always justify the means. Plus it will them something to bitch about when the next dem president pulls the same bullshit.
News flash trumpets: not being able to garner enough support is not justification to sh*t on the constitution.

You should join up with @Josephwalker on this post. He thinks numbers like this:

42% support it 54% oppose it.
53% blame Trump and the GOP. 29% the Dems.
79% think it will be a problem if it continues.
66% oppose using emergency powers to build it including 70% of independents.
    25% think it's a crisis.

    Is a winner.

Keep sending Trump those letters, I hear another republican senate seat getting spanked.

Yeah, but it STILL wasn't the Blue Wave I was hoping for.... we lost bad in some of those Senate races... WTF happened in Tenn, Missouri and Indiana?? Still a lot of work to do to put the deplorables away in 2020 and beyond...

Please tell him to do so. I am tired of the threat and watching fellow Americans get hurt because of the shutdown.

And I will look forward to people like Mike pence swallow their own words about how executive action on immigration is a gross abuse of power while the wall gets held up by the courts for more than a year...and then I'll enjoy watching the courts either say **** no, or watch trump massively expand executive authority just in time for a democratic president to declare climate change, access to healthcare, and gun violence national emergencies.

Meanwhile WHITE NON HISPANIC women are not giving birth at replacement rate in a single one of our 50 states.More are dying than are being born.Black women have above replacement birth rates in only 12 of our 50 states.Hispanic women have replacement rates in only 29 of our 50 states.Only 2 of our 50 states South Dakota and New Mexico have overall birth rates above replacement rate.WE NEED IMMIGRANTS FAR MORE THAN THEY NEED US.

    What I said.
43% approval according to that poll. Not great but never has been. Look at the graph. It is going up with that number, not down.

I'm not sure about climate change or access to healthcare as a national emergency, but I think anybody could make a decent case on gun violence (or even opiate deaths) as a NE.... Those cause clear link deaths to Americans...

It’s decreasing with just about every weekly poll.
He is upside down in all but a handful of states.
