If you look at the pres. candidates this year, you’ll see lies. When they are asked questions about the economy, government, and foreign/domestic warfare, the current candidates skirt around the truth. Instead of answering questions head on, they use diplomatic tact to avoid saying anything that could “upset the people”. But what they do not seem to get is that we want to elect a candidate who is not afraid to speak of the “unspeakable” issues with these topics. We, the people, want a president who will take action for what he/she says they will do. We, the people, want a president who is not afraid to address the fall of our economy, the depression that our country and the rest of the world are seeping into. And so far, I myself have not seen a suitable presidential candidate who has bothered to take charge.
When asked about these unpopular subjects, some candidates will change the course of the question into something that is so immensely off topic that it isn’t even funny. An example being, last night, February 23 2012, one of the candidates (no names mentioned) took a question about teenage abortion and somehow related it to the crisis’s in Iran and the Middle East. What we the people need, is someone who will take charge and will stand up and be the voice of us.
