Savage capitalists???? uh, the US is a capitalist country and capitalism has given us the best standard of living in the world, socialism means everyone's on welfare attached to the teat of government that feeds in crumbs and provides low quality services. We don't have Socialist parties because we recognize the evil they represent.

 

Socialism is simply Fair capitalism always Democratic with a good safety net. Our capitalism is the least Fair capitalism in the modern world by far. That's how we got the worst inequality and upward mobility anywhere by far. We have a flat tax system if you count all taxes and not just garbage propaganda. We are the richest country but far from the happiest. Thanks GOP! And like I said the only rich country without a living wage health Care daycare paid parental leave cheap college and training great infrastructure and vacations and mainly taxing the rich. Only the brainwash of GOP voters makes this mess possible....

What you describe exists in small Scandinavian countries that have a single malleable culture that doesn't mind being part of a herd. They also pay some of the highest taxes in the world and have become accustomed to settling for less. Your fantasy is incompatible with America.

 

Hit and run. Back it up with some facts.

 

1) that Capitalism has provided a high standard of living does not negate the claim that some capitalists act like savages.
2) That Socialism - as practiced by first world nations means that everyone is on welfare - is a complete falsehood.
3) We do have parties with socialist policies - hence the term "Democratic Socialism.

Everything in your post is either false or nonsense ?! - you need to better vet your sources.

 

Perhaps in your universe but here in reality all are demonstrably true. #2 Is absolutely true until of course they collapse as they always do. #3 Is unfortunately true but a weak minority (Thank God) and will NEVER come to power in America.
