You do if you want to marry that person, and they are not the right sex. That is how cons want it.

    not at all

conservatives are anti-affirmative action while liberals believe some races are inferior (talk about pompous) and need the bar lowered

conservatives believe in rights of all individuals including the babies that abortionists want to kill (other sub forum please)

you have sucked so much of liberal exhaust that you actually bought the concept of statism and that the govt, not the individual knows what is best

You are kidding yourself if you think "conservatives" want less government intrusions unless you are talking about clean air/water standards, education, financial regulation, gun regulation, ect... Conservatives, however, are all for the government stepping in and being over burdensome on the "fake" drug war, same sex partnerships/unions, ect.

Both parties are the party of big government - wake up. 13 Trillion in debt does not happen under one party...

While I agree that AA is one of the worst practices for race relations; your view that the individual knows best while being against same sex unions is hypocritical. Government should be out of the marriage business all together but since they are not (nor will they be) denying the same rights to homosexuals is discriminatory.
