"A Letter from Obama's America in 2012" written by focus on the family in 2008.

Here's just a taste of the (*)(*)(*)(*) that never happened:
So the next time a conservative tells you that the country will be in ruins by 2016, point, laugh and disregard.

The world nut daily is a perfect example of how there must be a strong correlation of having a severe mentally illness, and being a right winger.

You really have to pull an article from a crazy right wing group and apply it to all conservatives?

This could be easily done with the left also. Would you like to read some wonderful NWO stories put about from the left during Bush's 2004 re-election bid?

There's also ones comparing him to Hitler, aliens, and a re-incarnation of Jimmy Hoffa.

None of them turned out to be true either but hey, it must be representative of all liberals right?

Focus on the family is widely supported by conservatives and general and on this board.

And so one of their reporters got a story wrong.

How are you making the jump from that to the entire conservative belief maintaining end of the world scenarios?

    Very disingenuous.

    Know what else never happened?

Osama bin Laden holding a weapon, using his wife as a shield, or being thrown into the ocean.

A protest in Libya over a film.

A tracking device or attempts to track weapons given to drug cartels.

Letters to Eric Holder from citizens requesting that he crack down on states' voter ID laws (as he claimed).

Immediate withdrawal from Iraq and/or Afghanistan.

    Shutting down Guantanamo Bay.

    Addressing the fiscal deficit.

    Change.

Just so we're clear, you are arguing if a partisan periodical puts out an off the wall article, it taints that entire political spectrum?

    Heh, good to know...

    And...

A repeal of the Patriot Act

    A commitment to civil liberties

A health care system that would benefit everyone.

A veto of the NDAA if the Congress kept the provisions that dismantle 8 of our protections under the Bill of Rights.

    Transparency in government.

What did they say about Bush's NWO plans? What are they saying about how Panetta said that he takes orders from the UN? What did they think about the UN arms treaties, the World Bank, the IMF, or the WTO? How about the Fed secretly bailing out foreign banks? I assumed that lefties just support these things. These Trotskyites knew what it meant when they said it...the phrase has been around for at least a half-century.

“Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective— a new world order— can emerge.... We are now in sight of a United Nations that performs as envisioned by its founders.” —
President George H. W. Bush, Televised address, September 11, 1990.

"It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance."
President George Bush addressing the General Assembly of the U.N., February 1,1992.

“The president-elect (Obama) is coming into office at a moment when there is upheaval in many parts of the world simultaneously,” Kissinger responded. “You have India, Pakistan; you have the jihadist movement. So he can’t really say there is one problem, that it’s the most important one. But he can give new impetus to American foreign policy partly because the reception of him is so extraordinary around the world. His task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when, really, a new world order can be created. It’s a great opportunity, it isn’t just a crisis.”
