China's people have a clear message for their government -- don't even think of saving Europe: The Chinese public knows where it's interests lie -- not in the Eurozone. If the Communist Party is to cling to power in Beijing, it had best not defy the public on so critical an issue lest it loose the Mandate of Heaven. China needs to focus on its own development, not on throwing good money after bad on a crumbling, patchwork economy hobbled together by imbeciles, liars, and cheats.
What the majority want, in any event. The minority seems to often be silenced in rather unpalatable ways. We shall see if, when push comes to shove, the Party will listen to its subjects on so critical an international issue...
As soon as we fix our problem with leftwing ideology, the Chinese will get all that is coming to them, maybe more than they bargained for..
