 It would be amusing to see Russia try to pull this off. It really would.

I never said a hypersonic missile is impossible. I said missile with nuclear propulsion engine is the dumbest thing ever, technology that Americans abandoned in the 60s.
I did claim that a giant nuclear bomb won’t disturb tectonic plates enough to cause the earthquake and I still stand by this point.
During a nuclear explosion deep underwater most of the energy dissipates into the water. The bubble of super hot rapidly expanding gas (one of the main distructive things in the explosion) won’t be able to form because you can’t compress the water - what will happen is that cold ocean water will break that bubble immediately and cool expanding gas, greatly reducing the impact, as most of the energy of the explosion will be spent fighting water resistance.
So, this device, while in itself is possible, has almost a 0 chance of achieving its objective.
Why do you think nuclear testing in the ocean was one of the first things prohibited in treaties between USSR and USA? Bursting a nuke underwater kills a bunch of whales and marine animals while causing minimal impact to real military assets.
Earths crust is at least 10km thick. The ocean applies tremendous pressure on it. You burst the nuke that somehow manages to create fractures, the cold ocean water will immediately turn the magma beneath the crust into a new layer of crust underneath the damage.

So, yeah, lay down that vodka.

The nuke is not located anywhere but your imagination.
There is no proof that it exists.

Doomsday machine. Who do you think you are fooling. I learned a long time ago the guy who is always talking about how much money he has, is broke. The same goes for the guy who is always talking about how big his dick is. Countries are just like people. If you are powerful, you do not need to tell people. Russia talks about their doomsday machine because they have no cards to play. All that is left is the bluff. The US placed bases all around Russia and what could Russia do to stop this? Absolutely nothing. Russia tries to set up a base in Cuba, Kennedy called their bluff and they fled, tails between their legs. Their leader is a sawed off twit with a little man complex. His people eat beets and listen to how powerful their army is. This is the same army that could not even defeat Afghanistan's military. Spare me the big bad Russia stories.
