I pretty much figured out it was a gap filling thing. However, strict bible religions don't teach that. It is still A&E as the 1st ever humans. 6000 yrs ago, give or take.
So which religions are now teaching gap filling, mine is not.
One would think A&E would've known if they were not the only human to inhabit the earth.
Also, you didn't answer how the other human species died out or how we know they did and if they are still among us.

Likely, the other homo sapiens died out as a result of being out-competed by Adam and Eve's descendents, perhaps due to possessing the survival advantage of having souls. The Bible tells us that all people on the earth are descended from Adam and Eve. I believe modern science says something essentially identical, i.e., that all living human beings can be traced, via mitochondrial DNA, to a single female who lived some 200,000 years ago.

 

Then who was Cain talking about when he said they would kill him, God when he said he would mark Cain so that didn't happen, and who was Cain's wife?

 

The ancient hebrews went through the Levant attacking and killing every other kingdom and civilization until they controlled most of it. They killed men, women, children, the elderly and sometimes all the animals. And is says right there in the bible they did it because "God told them to". Jerusalem had already been a Canaanite city for hundreds of years before they conquered it.

What laws are you talking about and by god, do you mean the christian god?

Dozens of civilizations predated the hebrews and Israel/Judea in that area, Sumeria, Akkadia, Babylonia, Egypt, Persia, etc. and they all had laws.

When you talk about Christian/Judeo laws do you mean the 10 commands (of which only three could remotely be considered "laws") or the other 650 or so in the bible that christians don't follow?

For Jerusalem fans, it was a community going back as far as 3000bc. Around 2000bc it was named Jerusalem after the Canaanite god "Salem" or Shalem". "Jeru" is from the Sumerian "Yeru" meaning settlement or cornerstone. Basically, Jerusalem means "City of Salem", a god of the Canaanite pantheon.

 

Here is an image of the history of JeruSalem since 2000bc. I think you can click it to make it bigger. As you can see, Hebrew and Israeli control of this city and the surrounding area is very minute in comparison to it's overall history.
