Following the News I came across this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crim...lly-shoots-16-year-old/ar-BB1fCNkw?li=BBnb7Kz
Another tragic police shooting to be under investigation. Something different I noticed, race is generally the 1st thing mentioned in any recent case such as this. Oddly, I must assume this 16 year old was white. So I guess the media figures it is no big deal and they won't get much mileage out of it. Won't start any riots or looting over this. What's our culture coming to?

How long before Americans call out the media for what it is......a tool for Black Lives Matters and the Marxist left!

racism and discrimination against Americans of European decent is legal even though it is unconstitutional. There is no point to report news about something that is legal.

This is a problem for the Black Lives Matter movement. They appear to only care about black lives if they die at the hands of authorities, but the problem is with SOME of the authorities. No one should die needlessly at the hands of the authorities. People also need to respect the authority of the men and women who are tasked with dealing with the ugly side of our society. They have a very tough job to do, and have to make split second decisions that involve life and death, all while trying to serve and protect the population at large.
As to the media coverage, it is the product of our society, and the news outlets basically are responding to how we as the general public pay attention to it, click, click click. All of the media outlets are after one thing, money. If news generates it, they cover it more, if not, cover it less.
There is a lot of news generated daily in the US, and to some degree it is covered to the degree news outlets will make money from it. Each agency has it's own "followers", as CNN followers will click on different stories that say FOX followers will.
Welcome to the world of capitalism......

What? You mean in a capitalist society that a BUSINESS like Fox or CNN would cater to stories that
their viewers want to hear? Heaven forbid, Joe, tell me it isn't so.

Dude, your problem is that you think Fox and CNN et al, are news channels. They are entertainment channels that occasionally
throw in some news. If you want news, turn on the local channels for a 30 minute segment where they don''t have to
fill in 24 hr. time blocks. Or you can simply research the stories that interest you. Problem solved.

Yea, I was watching FOX and they wouldn't make it about his race due to their Marxist leftist leanings. Shame on them.

The problem with this case is that the teen raised a gun at the officer. Horribly ignorant mistake resulting in a tragedy.

DUDE, did you note my source ? That was a story that interested me. I have many sources. The masses continually hear the narrative ...."Police kill Black man" . That narrative is what this thread is about. Get with it or move on DUDE. That narrative has caused far more destruction and death than the Capitol building demonstration that gets the left all excited.

I want to expose that narrative. Race is the focal point of reporting, it seems as long as the victim has black skin pigmentation. My point is that in this great nation, incidents happen to people of all skin pigmentations, and eye color, and hair color. We have a Marxist thought process that has overtaken the propaganda news media that could care less about victims that are white. White victims don't seem to warrant the death and destruction they so desire. That is the topic here DUDE!

So....I can use your thinking against you and say resisting" is also an ignorant mistake resulting in tragedy in the Floyd case. The point here is skin color is the issue. Why isn't it pointed out as in all the other cases?

If you pull a gun at a cop, they have to react in a fraction of a second. It doesn't compare to a cop sitting on the neck of a handcuffed individual for 10 minutes, even after he was already dead.

Let me guess.....Skin color is always the issue for you. Yes? And you throw in the "marxist" to give the race baiting little more "umpf". Yes?

Just wanted to add that it's bad that anyone of any color, race, religion etc loses their life needlessly, HOWEVER, one thing I've noticed is that there have been many different factors in all of these incidents, but one that stands out as a common thread in almost all of the cases, the person killed was resisting arrest in some way shape or form. There are some bad cops out there, there are some bad attitudes out there, and they should be rooted out, but we need to be careful not to demonize the authorities in general, as they are the line of defense for all law abiding ciitzens. Resisting arrest should not carry the death sentence, but we need to respect the job the law enforcers have in front of them. Honestly, I can't imagine how difficult in must be at times being a police officer, and the pay and training leave a little to be desired. Simply, we must do better. The officers need to do better, but also the citizens need to do better. Improvements in those two areas would basically eliminate the bulk of these problems. Kind of like the kid in elementary school who always seemed to get in trouble. He/she brings it on themselves by acting out, and then a process starts where he/she starts to get in trouble even when they don't do something wrong, just because they have built a reputation and the teachers (wrongly) start to accuse them of all the wrongdoing. It's not always right, but that is the reality of it. There is right and wrong, but it's easy to see how police and other authority figures can make mistakes. Unfortunately some mistakes are irreversible, like my first marriage, lol. (Almost got the death penalty for that one too!)

If you would use an ounce of literacy here you would know that making race the issue is the subject here. Yes and the "Racebaiting" here is done purely to promote Marxist ideology, the dismantling of a non-national police force, and the breakdown of moral fiber in America via burning and looting.
Perhaps you have drifted so far left that you are numb to ultimate Marxism and what they promote. Do a little research on BLM.

Can you define marxism and how it relates to the media talking or not talking about race? I ask, because marxism didn't have anything to do with race.

Me, - no, I am not left, and nor am I the topic of the tread. Or am I?

Apparently you don't see the drive to destroy law and order in America. That drive is promoted by the media and we see it happening. Marxism cannot exist when there is a premium on "individual liberty". I don't need to define Marxism for you. You are well acquainted with it as you understand the desires of the left..

So, you use words you hear in the media, but when asked to define the meaning of those words, you are unable to do it. Its obvious you do not know the meaning of the words you use. You just thrown them in, because you think it gives your claims more "umpf" aka makes it sound like a stronger argument.

Law and order isn't going anywhere. Its hilarious when people to argue the government oppresses the free people with too many laws, and the next day they argue the same people are behind a conspiracy to do away with "law and order".

You do need to, but you don't know how.

PS You are the one talking about 'desires of the left', not me. You talk as if you were the expert about "the left" and then absurdly claim that I am the expert. You made the claims, so you need to back them up. You are all over the place with your claims.

Because Marxists are using any tensions in the society to reach their goal.
First goal is to destroy the society whatever it takes.

Why try to define them? You just twist them anyway. Maexism has it's own contemporary brand that is being pushed by the left and you know full well what I am talking about. In every case they want to redefine family, the Republic, Democracy etc. It is much easier now to point out the Maexis Drive because many are coming out of the closet. We know their desperation by the new cancel culture and technique being applied.

That is hilarious in itself. Blue states have their police stand behind a fence while Marxist minions loot and burn. Border Patrol and Ice are on stanby while illegal aliens are shipped by the hundreds to the interior illegally to defray the overcrowding of detainment camps. By the way.....are you all over PACKING THE COURTS?

So that you would realize that associating the word "marxist" to everything you don't like doesn't help your argument. It makes it worse.

So you been told, but do you ever wonder who arrests all those people if cops are just standing behind fences? Heck, Minnesota deployed the National Guard on day-1 this week when riots broke out.

You yourself must realize how words are redefined as a tactic used frequently by the left. How for example has infrastructure been redefined recently? So we could either, one of us go to a dictionary and get a strict definition of "Marxism" as taught by Karl Mark, the founder. Then we could look at how it has been implemented in various degrees by it's followers, Stalin, Ho Che Min, Che Gueverra, Fidel Castro, Chairman Mao, Xing, Columbia University, Yale and Harvard. The word is very contemporary but it's efforts all go in one direction.

I asked you to define it because you argued that marxism = media bringing up race issues.

Never mind, you have done more than enough to prove my point.

Yes,race is used to divide and victimize segments of out society. That is evident in CRT training taught by various "woke" institutions in our country. Originally the United State was characterized as a melting pot. My ancestors ALL arrived here no later than 1830, some as early as 1650. I have four major nationalities I am derived from. I have friends that are 1st 2nd and third generation Italian, Mexican, Ukrainian and I see them just as American as I. I feel the same way of those with an Oreintal or African background.
This is a fundamental Marxist effort to divide and break down the family of America, to lead us into a greater, Nationalist system perhaps so that we will be more compatable to Communist China. The left seems very indifferent to the fact that Nation enslaves and tortures, They infected the world with a Pandemic yet our Corporations make deals with them all the time. So you are just sore that I call these things out?

That is what I meant when I said you scream "MARXISM" at everything you don't agree with. It conveys the fact that you either don't know the meaning of the word, or you just throw it around because you think it makes your claims sound stronger. Unfortunately, it makes them weaker.

Out of that list it's the Universities where we have direct responsibility.

MAKE THE EVIL BASTARDS PAY: Cop-supporting coffee shop owner bullied off Boise State demands $10M from university in tort claim.

Claim of pervasive anti-law enforcement bias
Fendley supports police officers because “As a single woman running a business in a sometimes rough neighborhood, the police have assisted her in many potentially dangerous situations over the years and she is appreciative of such assistance.”

Fendley’s fiance, Kevin Holtry, a cop, caught five bullets in the line of duty, making him wheelchair-bound.

I'm not the one screaming, - you are. That's my whole point, which you are now trying to project on me. I am asking you to explain yourself, but apparently you are not able to do that. You just say "marxism" to everything.

    I rest my case.
