Arabs are NOT a race.

 

Actually, they are. The people of Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Northern Egypt are racially Arab.

 

Arabs are defined by culture not race.. Their "race" falls under Caucasian.

 

I concede they fall into the category, but it's by name only. To argue that the a person born in the country of Georgia is racially the same as an Arab born in Saudi Arabia is ludicrous - even though they are both labeled as Caucasian.

If you saw a guy who looked like bin Laden robbing a store, you wouldn't tell the cops he "looked Caucasian."

Origins are a bit murky.. Qahtani .. I think that's how its spelled.. are supposed the original Arabs.. Some say they are descended from a son or grandson of Ishmael from Yemen... Others say they came from Iraq and moved south.

What is certain is that Arabs were on the moved 10,000 years ago... and that the Arabian peninsula was more savannah-like and had far more diversity in wildlife and flora.

I have never found Arabs to be racist.. Most are olive skinned or fair with dark hair and eyes..

Along the West coast you have some intermarriage with Sudanese or Somalis... on the east coast you have the pearl divers who are really skinny and tall with skin that is nearly blue black.
